Sometimes Jade gets caught saying the darnest of things when she doesn't think Rex or anyone else is listening, "Jade's voice carried around the bend. "You're such a beautiful boy. You know I'd do anything for you, even get a ride with that obnoxious hunk of a man." And lord help Rex the girl has a temper, "Rex Braden, what is wrong with you? Are you trying to make me feel like a cheap whore? Was that your plan all along? Take me so one else would, then toss me aside like I was a conquest?" And Rex he's learning that with Jade you just need to say how you feel, "for me, Jade. I'm a possessive bas****. I never knew I was, but the idea of you with anyone else kills me. I want you like I've never wanted anyone before." I really did enjoy reading this book.
