Breaking the Storm by Sedona Venez

At first I thought this was the second book to "Infinity" but I was wrong. I happen to like the beginning of this series more than the other book Sedona wrote. I mean when a book has my heart breaking on page (I forget what page) but in the beginning of a book then you know I'm going to love it, "it's not hte pack that can't accept me...it's you. Let's speak the truth for once instead of hiding behind meaningless words. You would rather die than claim me as your mate." I felt the sadness and loneliness creeping up on my again. "Why would you? After all, who would want to breed with a hybrid Fae-witch? Isn't that what you told Bianca." Broke my heart luckily the story wasn't about the prologue's couple (or I really would have gone berserk) Knox in the beginning of the book he had some good qualities, the fact that his girl always comes first is a plus, "I determine when I'm busy. And I'm never too busy for Stormy. Get it?" Then there were the times he had crap qualities. Storm the girl has balls, "so instead of coming to me and asking a question like a rational person, you decided that getting a blow job was a more viable option?" To say that in the beginning of the book their relationship needed work was putting it mildly. We also meet a man which I think will be in the next book of the series whose the alpha of the pact, Ryker, loved him and can't wait to get his story, "darling, you can call me anything you want." He growled low and sensually. "And just in case I wasn't clear, I'm a lover of all women, with a fondness for the charm of Credence women." Knox and Storm's relationship was a still work in progress as the book continued but at least this time they were agreeing on some things and well Knox is a possessive boy, "and you shall have me, baby. Once you understand one thing. I'm a selfish man - I don't share." It's also evident on how much he cares for her, "s***! Storm? Are you crying, baby?" His voice broke, alarming the hell out of me. He paused. "Come back home, okay? We'll talk this out. Then you can do whatever you think you have to." I'm so ready for the next book!
