I love this series really I do, but there are times I wish we could have a conclusion. Don't get me wrong each installment isn't boring and the subject matter isn't the same but I'm the type of person that likes happy endings and with Sean and Avery well they're two people that just needs someone to fight for them. This installment takes off right after a scene that happened in 'Damaged 2' I was kinda bummed that we didn't actually get to see the scene unfold, I would have loved to have gotten Avery's thoughts on what went down, it's okay really, she let's Sean have it when they're alone, "you know exactly what you did down there! You knew what would happen before you even said it - I could see it on your face - so don't you dare lie to me now, and act like you have no idea why I'm mad. And, I swear to God, if you blame it on PMS, I will cut you." Sean I know the boy is damaged beyond repair but really your offer is kinda a**holey, "you thought what? You thought that I'd be happy to be your live-in call girl? You thought that I'd be flattered that you offered to buy me?" Sometimes I really don't know what in the hell is in that boy's head, however I do know that he does care for Avery his a** just goes about showing her the wrong way. Unless of course it's in the bedroom hehe, "I'm going to make love to you, Avery. You are going to be so sated that you'll never be able to have sex again without thinking about this night. I promise you that." Um, great promise Sean but lately they kinda mean s***, of course though this is one promise he does keep, "you can. Trust me, baby. I'll take care of you. Let go, let everything else fade away." At this particular point I think Avery is just dumb for not taking up his offer on being his mistress. If you read 'Damaged 2' then you realize that there's gonna be not a lot of Sean in this book, but Mel the good bff she is has many heart to hearts with Avery, "I'm sorry I took you to Black. I screwed up, Avery. And that's the last I'm going to say about that, because no matter what we do, we can't change that. Not now. So, I'll help you out and be Ms. Supportive, no matter what crazy crap you decide." I just think this series needs an ending all these cliffhangers (though this one no so bad) are kinda getting to me, and it's making me want to pull out my damn hair.
