Marcus is still very passionate about his woman, "I reached down, gripped her thighs, lifted her and wrapped her legs around my waist. Screw the effing stairs. I went straight into my office and sat her on top of my desk." He'd also do anything for his girl, "hey, the next two weeks will be fun, taking my girl out on the best dates she's ever had." He always tries to make light of situations, "Mia, why are you crying? Simba didn't kill his father. It was evil Uncle Scar who did." He's still possessive, "no more ridiculous bets. You're mine, completely. I'll have you whenever and wherever I want." I kind of liked the first book better as I always like to see relationships from the beginning, I mean Marcus and Mia still had issues in this book but they were honest with each other this time around.
