With the lovely ending to bookie one this book takes off right where Coexist ended. Rourk be still my heart, "Embarrassed, Rourk answered," trying to figure out what to wear." It's good to know some men get nervous about a date just as much as women. Rourk is still smokin' with his good looks just as much if not more in this book, "his shirt was just tight enough to show off his defined chest. The sleeves looked a little snug, she tried not to stare as his muscled arms." I would stare I mean that's what he's there for right? Not to sure how I feel about Keegan and Donald I mean he's nice and all but Rourk has my heart has had it since we met him, so I'm probably biased and all team Rourk. I mean he knows how to kiss, "he groaned and tangled his hands in her hair. Their eyes met for an instant and she leaned in to kiss him again." Of course there was a cliffhanger, but luckily I got the trilogy book.
Out of all the trilogy books this would happened to be my favorite, maybe it's because Rourk and Keegan are I don't spending A LOT of time together. I understand how Keegan is confused, "I don't know, mom. It's all so sudden I just broke Donald's heart. I barely know Rourk, but I'm so drawn to him I can't do anything but be with him." Girl I would totally just forget all that stuff and be like YAY HE'S MY MAN, but that's just me. Rourk is like every girl's dream he just wants Keegan to be happy and will go along with whatever she wants, "whatever you want is fine with me. As fas as I'm concerned, we are bonded and that's enough." Keegan's thoughts are seriously just funny in this book I loved being in her head, "is today the day I lose my virginity?...She certainly hoped so! Rourk seems to know what to always say to make Keegan happy, "Keegan, I am honored to be your chosen. I will spend the rest of my life trying to be the best husband possible." Really pleased with the ending.
