BLOG TOUR EXCERPT/REVIEW: Textual Encounters by Morgan Parker

I was compelled from page one, I love how Christine and Jake go from nothing but complete strangers to something just from starting out from texting. It's like the texts between the two are documenting their relationship, it's something I haven't seen before. Normally someone would write in journals documenting their ups and downs but in this case it's texting. Their were convos between them that made me laugh but the one that stuck out the most was this one:
                             5:05pm:
But maybe I want you to jump all over me? Maybe I'm more in the mood for getting jumped than eating.
                             5:06pm:
                                F***ing cruel, Christine.
                             5:08pm:
Cruel is having to stare at you from across the table at some public restaurant for the next two hours instead of making love to you.
This book also had me in tears and if I was in Katie's position I would have done the exact same thing she
 did.

EXCERPT:
I’m sore, Jake. You’re an amazing lover, and not only because you can please me physically. The way you whisper my name in my ear, the way you kiss my neck while you’re on top of me and my legs are wrapped around your waist, the way you smile and trace your finger from the inside of my knee down to my butt (I love that!), and then seeing you when I wake up…!!! I’m smiling just thinking about it!!!
