If You Stay by Courtney Cole

Pax Tate, I love that boy dearly! I love the way he talks, "Hey there, little red riding hood," Pax drawls, setting his bag on the counter in front of me. "I owe you a sweater." the way he thinks (it's a tad bit crude but hey it's Pax we're talking about) "Full tits, tiny waist, lush hips. My groin tightens. F***. I quickly think of dead puppies, nuns, and cold pork. It seems to do the trick and my d*** calms down. For now." Then there is Mila who doesn't beat around the bush and I truly admire that, "Things are the way they are, but everything has a reason. Kittens are cute because they're tiny fur-balls with smushed faces. Rainbows are pretty because they have every color in the world in them and they're made from refracted light. Chick flicks are sad because chicks sometimes just need a good cry. And a**holes are always a**holes for a reason." Mila is maybe the most important reason Pax holds his ground and becomes a better man, and everyone and i mean EVERYONE needs someone like that in their life. I really enjoyed this book and I can't wait to see what Courtney has up her sleeve for the next one!
