Things have changed since book one, in this book we meet Ari, and although Aimee is in the book she isn't a main character per say. Ari oh that girl I just want to run up to her and hug her hard, and say it's going to be okay. She's just...I love her I mean how can you not? "I like boys, I don't want my stomach to knot up and make me hate every man I meet just because the other me did things she shouldn't have people hurt her. I've never been raped, I've never been molested, I've never done things for money that I'm ashamed of. Well beyond selling greasy food to already fat people." Then there's Lucas, a mystery all on his own, and boy don't I love a good mystery. "Lucas was an unknown to Ari. He had managed to make her fall in love with him without ever sharing a detail about himself. It was like loving a complete stranger in secret. She had assumed he was a vampire like Andy. Until she realized Andy never went outside and he was always outside. The informative and dull sun lesson she had endured ruled it out. Then she thought he could be like Aleksander, but he couldn't just vanish into thin air the way Aleks did. Also he wasn't seductive the way Aleksander was. His smell drove her nuts. The fact Lucas never spoke much drove her nuts. She wasn't certain how he felt about her which made new Ari peaceful inside and annoyed her mercilessly." I liked this book a alot probably more then the first book because there's a lot more going on and we're meeting new characters in each book. The ending of the book was also better then the first as the cliffhanger wasn't as bad.
