These two characters caught my interest in the previous Maiden Lane book, and I was so excited they got a novella, Matt I don't know how to describe him, but I loved him, “next time”—he clamped hard, firm hands around her waist—“ rise”—he lifted her, blankets and all—“ without shoving your knee into my bloody bollocks.” I enjoyed this book, it was a quick read but it had a whole story to it.
