Cowboy Payback by Donna Michaels
Trisha hates spiders, having one on her tends to lawmakers situations, “not that I don’t like the view, because believe me, I really, really do like the view,” he said, glancing down at her breasts spilling out of her lilac lace bra. “But you should probably do something about it.” Brett's game is sometimes off, "her distress had his insides turned upside down and inside out and so muddled he said the first thing that came to his mind. “I love your a**.” I enjoyed this book it was a light hearted fun read.
Friday Night Brides by Samantha Chase
Alright we got four strong, female main characters so for this review I'm going to do something different and and put the names as categories and write something about each of them:
ANGIE:
Angie had to be my favorite her personality was like mine, feisty, outgoing and dramatic at times, “shut your a**!” Angie cried as she spun in her seat to face Hailey. “What did you say? What did he say? Oh my god, this is so exciting!”
HAILEY:
Personally I think Hailey has a stick up her butt, but that changes where sexy Jack is concerned he's the spice that she needs, “then obviously you haven’t had great make-up sex,” he countered."
ELLA:
This girl here could be all giddy at times those were the scenes I enjoyed the most with Ella, “oh my God!” Ella cried. “What did you do? Did he stay? Did you do it? Was it good?” She fanned herself wildly and then looked at Becca, Hailey and then back at Angie. “Was it wild and intense? Oh… I bet it was wild and intense!”
BECCA:
Becca is the cautious one and damn that girl found a good man in Max, “I was trying so hard to be a gentleman with you. I knew you had been hurt and I didn’t want to rush you. Every time we’ve been together, I’ve had to fight the urge to touch you.”
FINAL THOUGHTS:
Overall I enjoyed this book I loved the girl and their men are sometimes saints with all the patience they've had with their women.
One Pink Rose by Julie Garwood
I personally thought there was some chemistry between Travis and Emily right from the beginning even though she drove him bonkers:
“What does that have to do with the price of pickles? Southern ladies are more refined. Everyone knows that, which is precisely why I’ve decided to be Southern.”
He could feel the throbbing behind his temples. “You can’t decide to be Southern.”
“But of course I can. I can be anything I want to be.”
I liked this book I thought the characters had good chemistry.

Never Kiss an Outlaw by Nicole Snow
I do like the reactions Firefly has when his woman is around, "I stabbed my finger playfully into his chest. For a second, he stood paralyzed, like he'd lost the ability to comprehend what was coming out of my mouth. Then there was nothing but the loudest growl I'd ever heard vibrating in my ears as he threw me down..." I really enjoyed this book Firefly was a good man and once Cora discovered herself she didn't let her man get away with much.
Icing by Kelly Jamieson
Duncan has some stamina in him and I think Amber is impressed, "he dropped several condoms onto the nightstand. She smirked and met his eyes. “Apparently I’m about to be even more impressed.” I liked Duncan, I loved how protective and caring he could be, "he slammed on the brakes, flicked his blinker and made a fast turn onto a side street, lurching to a stop. He turned to her in the dark vehicle. “You were in an accident? What happened? Are you okay?” I enjoyed this book I really loved Duncan.
Nicolas by Serena Simpson
Nicolas is a really sweet guy, “Janis, I’m never going to want to let you go. You’re my mate and I want to hold you forever.” I liked this book these men knew how to dote on their women. I really liked this book.
Hot For The Scot by Janice Maynard
I really liked Angus, "I didn’t mean anything by that remark. It was true. I was sweaty, and my clothes were covered in muck. But Angus apparently took my statement as an invitation. “God in heaven, woman,”he growled. “Don’t say things like that when I can’t do any damn thing about it.” I really did love Angus, “you can ask me anything, little peach. I’m no’ likely to deny you at this point.” I really enjoyed this book I loved Angus.
Never Say Love by Carly Phillips & Lauren Hawkeye
I fell in love with Nate he is quite the possessive male, “damn straight I did.” Nate closed the space between them. Cast a surreptitious glance around their table, eased back just a bit. “If anyone is going to have his hands on you, Ellie, it’s going to be me.” This was a quick read for me and I enjoyed it I loved Nate.

More Than a Feeling by Sara Richardson
I liked Sawyer I thought he was a good guy, “sure.” Eyes on her face. Keep your eyes on her face , he reminded himself. Because underneath that wet shirt the woman had on a lacy bra that hid absolutely nothing. Not that she should hide anything, because damn…" Sawyer is like any other man, he wants his woman in as little clothing as possible, “I’ll surprise you.” Maybe Fiji? Hawaii? The thought of spending an entire week alone with Ruby holed up in some beach hut reignited the whole skinny -dipping fantasy. “I’m thinking somewhere tropical,” he said in a low voice, making sure it was close enough to her ear to give her some serious goose bumps. “So I can watch you walk around in a bikini for a week.” I really enjoyed this book.

Never Sweeter by Charlotte Stein
Letty and Tate have some serious conversations going on between them:
“She ran out on me because I have a can of Pringles in my pants.”
“Well, what the hell were you doing keeping them there?”
“No, Letty. No, honey. Not literally Pringles.”
There was a pregnant pause after that. And when it gave birth . . . Oh god, when she realized . . .
“Did you seriously just tell me that your ***k is enormous?”
“That may possibly have been the gist of my point.”
Tate is not a shy man, he is blunt, “I feel like I’m going to blow my load just watching you get all excited over my body and my ***k and what all this effing teasing does to me..." I enjoyed this book I loved Tate.
This One Moment by Stina Lindenblatt
I had mixed feelings about Nolan he was caring I gave him that but I just wish he was more firm on things where the record label was concerned, I did like that he was caring, “I heard you leave, and when I realized you’d gone for a run, I came looking for you.”He frowned. “Why the hell were you running on your own? You should’ve asked me to come with you.” overall I liked this book.
Fan the Flames by Katie Ruggle
I really liked Rory, girl was entertaining, “no!” She glared at Ian before turning back to Rob and his too-nosy son. “This isn’t a date. It’s just us satisfying a biological need.” Rory wasn’t sure if Ian was choking or laughing." Ian is quite the charmer, “right.” After running his eyes over her almostnaked back once again, he took a step toward the door . “I knew you had a nice a**, but I’d have never guessed it was that nice.” I liked this book I loved Ian.
Saved by the SEAL by Diana Gardin
Grisham is a great guy, “I guess that’s a decision we’ll have to make together. But damn, girl. The way you were just now… it was hot. You’re hot. And being with you does something crazy to me… every time we’re together. So, yeah, I plan on getting physical with you at some point. But not like this. I’m a effing disaster tonight.” Grisham doesn't understand his woman's love for Christmas but he just goes with it, “yeah. You mean the day after Thanksgiving? When you drenched this entire house and the firm with green and red? Yeah, angel, I got it. I’m up.” I really enjoyed this book I loved Grisham.
Wasted by Morgan Black
Xavier is not a bashful person, “get out of the car. I need to be able to see you better as I eff you.” I really loved Xavier's dad I know I shouldn't have but I thought the old man was a hoot, “fine. If she means that much to you, then she is part of the family now. Let's go blow up some of the Irish. It's been a while since I've gotten blood on my hands , and I don't like to get boring in my old age.” I really liked this story it was short and a good read.
Hold Me Now by Addison Moore
Jessie is a really lovable, funny guy, "Jessie holds up the unopened rubber a moment. “You ready to meet the Barbarian?” Out of this series this one is my favorite because of the code names they have for each other's goodies, “what? You’re not a freak.” He gives my shoulders a quick squeeze. I can feel his chest thumping with a rumble of a laugh. “No. I promise you the Barbarian is perfectly fine. In fact, he’s missing Genie already. He’s greedy that way.” I really liked this book.
Make Me Forget by Beth Kery
Our girl Harper sure has some interesting thoughts going on where Jacob's body is concerned, "he was a tall one. Six foot three or four? Her gaze stuck on his crotch. The wet trunks were revealing. Very. Heat flared in her cheeks. “He interrupted your pace,” he said. She jerked her gaze guiltily up to his face. He waved at her jogging attire." This is a serial which means a sort of cliffhanger but not really the characters were where I wanted them to be so I wasn't upset, can't wait for the next part.

Blocked by Elise Faber
Brit isn't one of those women who only eats salad girl likes meat, “seriously,” Brit said. “We’ve got two days off. I, for one, am having a burger and a milkshake. Mint chocolate-chip. Or maybe cookie dough. Or maybe—” Laughter swept through Stefan." Some of the conversations Stefan and Brit have:
“I don’t really do the matching lingerie thing,” she said. “Wh-what?”
With a sigh and an eye roll, she walked over to him. “I’m not super girlie.”
“Like eff you’re not.” He was practically sitting on his hands, so he didn’t grab her.
I liked this book I fell in love with Stefan.
Love Redone by Karice Bolton
I liked Cole I did, took him awhile to remove his head from his a** but liked him, “I’ve had eight years,” he murmured. “I can’t wait any longer to make you mine.” Natty sometimes has to bust her man's balls, because the boy has a one track mind, “we can’t.” I swatted him, but it was too late. He’d already started kissing my belly and working his way up. “I’m telling you, they’ll know and then this whole thing tonight will just be awkward.” I enjoyed this book I loved the characters.
Burned by a Kiss by Tina Leonard
I know the book is supposed to be about Emma and Santana but Santana's sister Sierra just got my attention with her attitude, "stop being so nice,” Sierra snapped. “You got our ranch, you don’t need to rub salt in the wound by showing us what a prince you are.” Emma’s mouth fell open as she stared at Sierra. Nick looked startled, and Santana shook his head." Emma has a way of making her man forget things, “I didn’t know you were supposed to be offering me something,” Emma said, kissing him again . She slipped her hand along his side, just above his belt, and he couldn’t hold back his wall of reservation any longer." I really enjoyed this book.
Deep by Joanna Blake
GRIND:
Sometimes a man needs to backtalk his granny to get his point across, “Caro is not a pretty little thing. She’s a strong, bright, independent woman. I’ve been in love with her since before I knew what that even meant.” This book had some steamy scenes and some action scenes as well and I'm not just talking about the bedroom action. This book was different then her others but I loved it all the same. |
HEAT:
Trent is a well-endowed man, and Lexi's first time seeing that well-endowment makes Trent have some interesting thoughts, "yes, Lexi. This is just a garden variety boner. If the garden was on steroids. “I apologize. You…do things to me.” Her mouth snapped shut. She was looking at me, not at my ***k. Which I have to admit, was a first. Usually people stared." Trent takes care of his women and by women I mean Lexi and her sister he's just a sweet guy when it comes to Lexi's sister, "in the end I bought a whole set. A locket with room for a photo inside. A bracelet with a simple heart charm. And a gold ring with a small diamond in it. I didn’t want Charlotte to feel left out." I liked this book Trent was a good guy once he got his head removed from his butt. DEEP: Joss is quite the possessive man, " Everyone would be looking at her. Wanting her. Fantasizing about her. She was mine dammit." |
Off the Hook by Laura Drewry
I really liked this book I loved the dynamic between all the characters:
“Prescription, my a**. If you’re looking for condoms, there’s a box in the bottom drawer of my dresser. Help yourself.”
“Is that what —oh my God!” Kate cried. “It was one kiss! I am not having sex with your brother!”
Finn didn’t even turn around; he lifted his hand and dismissed her with a wave while Liam, grinning like an idiot, shrugged again.
I really liked this book Liam was great and I'm hoping the other brothers get a book.

Jude can give a pretty mean compliment, “damn… you look so good. I have no idea how I’m not going to rip that dress off of you tonight.” I swear Jude has a one track mind, "he grinned and said, “We could skip this party and stay home and admire each other’s hotness.” I enjoyed this book, I loved Jude.

About YOU’RE STILL THE ONE:
Love is one dare neither of them can take…
Arabella Stone, Nashville’s darling, is eager to shuck her prim-and-proper rep, and a few wild months spent checking items off her ” summer bucket list” is the way to do it. First up: kiss the man she’s crushed on since she wore a training bra, the bad boy of country himself, Blue bassist Charlie Tucker.
For Charlie, a beautiful woman flirting with him isn’t out of the norm–but a beautiful woman bolting after the hottest kiss of his life sure is. And when he finds out his kiss-and-run Cinderella is none other than Arabella Stone, daughter of his label’s CEO, he knows he’s in trouble. Because not only is she a Stone, she’s also his employee for the next few months at the recording studio he just bought.
Over the course of one thrilling summer, Arabella and Charlie chip away at her bucket list and fight the simmering attraction between them…knowing that once it’s all over, so is their time together.

Charlie is sweet and that man is wrapped around Ella's fingers, "Arabella rolled her eyes. “No, it’s pretty, and it’s yummy. Stop being such a guy and try it.” Reluctantly, Charlie took a tentative sip. Because she’d asked him to, and because he couldn’t seem to tell her no. She was just too darn cute." I enjoyed this book, the naughty bits faded to black so we got no dirty details I thought this book was sweet.

Going the Distance by Jennifer Fusco
Oh the thoughts Micahel has, "he doubted anyone could benefit going one-on-one with her. Unless, of course, they weren’t talking sports. Maybe if it was something less personal, more physical. Then hell-to -the-yes, he wouldn’t mind going a few rounds with the sexy woman." Mike can't stand to be far from his woman, “you can cancel that. We only need one room.” Mike was a great guy and Ava turned out to be a great girl.
Pushing the Limits by Jennifer Snow
I really liked Dane, “best thing I’ve had in my mouth in far too long,” he mumbled, his mouth full. Her cheeks turned a shade darker and he almost coughed on the meat as he swallowed. “Get your mind out of the gutter, I meant food.” I really enjoyed this book Dane was a load back guy and Colby was a sweet girl.
The Wedding Agreement by Elizabeth Hayley
I liked Alex and Cass I loved when they were together and I especially loved Alex's a attitude he didn't mind if his woman took the reigns a time or two, "he gave her an amused grin as he stood up, his ***k noticeably tenting the fabric of his pants. “You’re bossy when you’re horny." Cass and Alex really did have a strange relationship at times it was entertaining, "Cass looked at him curiously. “Can walruses drown?” Alex looked at her like she’d lost her mind. She must have taken that as a cue to continue. “They live in water. Can animals that live in water drown?” I really enjoyed this look I thought it was cute and entertaining.
The Devil You Know by Jo Goodman
Willa isn't a shy girl, she can voice her opinions and needs, “only if you intend to burn down the house. I want you to move closer. You’re a furnace. I’m not.” He obliged her, inching toward her until she took him by the hand and pulled his arm across her waist." Willa appreciates a good game of strip poker with her man, “I like this game,” she said, lying fully on top of him. “I’m still wearing my drawers, and you’re wearing me, and I don’t even care if you think that makes you the victor.” I enjoyed this book I thought Israel was a good match for Willa.
Phoenix Reborn by J.D. Tyler
With certain authors I don't read blurbs to book as J.D. is one of those authors I started reading and didn't realize this was m/m I don't read this genre but because I seriously love this author I made a go of it, I was pleasantly surprised to like the book does this mean I'll read other m/m books probably not but I really loved Nix and Noah and some of their light hearted moments:
“I was trying to figure out if I should get the door for you,” he confessed. Noah smiled.
“At the risk of sounding sexist, I’m not a girl, man. I can get my own door, but thanks.”
Nix laughed. “Glad we got that one out of the way.”
“Several hundred to go.” His mate sounded pretty cheerful about the prospect.
Fly With Me by Chanel Cleeton
The introduction scene at the bachelorette party had me in giggles, "...one of the pink p*****s hit me in the face again. I grinned. Eff, she was cute. “Babe, gotta remove the headband. Don’t need pink ***ks in my face.” The atmosphere, and chemistry between Noah and Jordan was off the charts, "he tilted his head to look at me, another smile tugging at his lips. “ You have my ***k in your hands and you’re still busting my balls?” I really enjoyed this book, I was hooked page one, I'm excited for the next book in this series. I had a feeling a certain something was going to happen in this book so I'm really eager to see how Easy's book is going to go with an event that happened in this book.
BLOG TOUR REVIEW: Teach Me by Sophie Holloway
I'm Manhattan's biggest player, a man with a reputation for delivering unparalleled pleasure.
But she's untouchable. Off limits. And the most captivating woman I've ever met
I've never wanted a woman they way I want my business partner's little sister. But I've learned to hold back when it comes to the seductively innocent Eva.
Until the day she asks me to teach her everything. Absolutely everything. Every position, every seductive trick, every wicked, forbidden way I've ever pleasured the women I've brought home.
I've promised to protect this girl, but there's only so much a man can resist...
***
I've wanted him for years.
Jack Bennett is sinfully gorgeous, utterly charming, and, as rumor has it, a GOD in bed.
The time has come to shed my virginity, join the ranks of women having sex in the city, and learn how to please a man.
Who else would I ask but him? My teenage crush, and the only man who has ever made my bones melt with one dark, sinful look.
The problem is--someone doesn't want me to move beyond the fear and pain of the past, and that someone is closing in on me..
The bartender approached her. As she opened her mouth to order, he said, “You’re Eva?”
She straightened, surprised. “Yes.”
He slid a vodka martini, her favorite drink, over to her. Underneath the glass, on top of the Sky Deck napkin, was a folded note. She felt her face flush as she reached for it. He’s going to tell me he made a mistake. He’s going to say he can’t make it. The breeze on her body suddenly felt like ice, prying the goosebumps up from her skin. She unfolded the note and read, Go to the restroom.
Eva wrinkled her nose. Well, okay. Peeing. That sounds romantic.
She’d heard a hundred stories about how smooth Jack was. She’d seen him in action enough as well. He could charm the panties off any girl, just by leaning in, touching her hand, and talking to her like she was the most important woman in the world. Eva had always thought she’d probably faint dead away if he ever focused his attention on her. Not that she hadn’t fantasized about it— she had, a million times, but a bathroom break had never been part of those dreams. Her knees wobbled as she took a small sip of her drink, then a larger one.
Then she downed the whole thing in one long gulp. She needed it.
Licking her lips, she slid off the stool and headed down the hallway toward the restrooms, her equilibrium slightly off in the four-inch peep-toe heels Georgie had insisted on. When she closed the door behind her, she checked her reflection in the mirror. Despite the alcohol swirling inside her, she looked terrified.
She took a deep breath. Then another. “Calm down, dammit!” she commanded in her best, gruff Georgie voice. “You can do this.”
She opened the door and stepped outside again, feeling only slightly better about herself. She didn’t have time to worry much more, however. Before she could head out of the hallway, a door opened to her side and a heavy hand clamped around her upper arm, pulling her into a darkened room.
She blinked, her eyes adjusting to the dimness as a voice hissed, “Don’t ever drink a cocktail that you haven’t personally watched the bartender pour.”
Jack.
Talking like that, he sounded like Antonio. She opened her mouth to tell him she could take care of herself, but before she could, his mouth found hers, needy, urgent. His tongue expertly delved into her mouth, staking a claim.
She’d spent so many nights thinking about the taste and feel of his lips, but the fantasy could never have matched this. He tasted like she’d thought he would, like mint and Cubans and that insanely sexy aftershave that he wore. Holy crap, Jack Bennett is kissing me. The thought flittered through her mind for the briefest of moments before she went completely numb to everything but the intense sensation of heat— everywhere, exploding like a thousand fireworks inside her.
Jack wrapped his arms around her and tangled his fingers in her hair, keeping her mouth to his, assuring her there was nothing half-hearted about this encounter. Either he wanted this as much as she did, or he was very good at pretending.
No, this wasn’t pretend. He was in. All in. His tongue, lips, teeth, and powerful chest pressed to hers.
His lips drifted down her jaw line, and he tugged aside the fabric of her dress, finding her collarbone. His hand roughly cupped her breast, his thumb rubbing the outline of her hard nipple. His touch sent sparks racing through her. Her entire body screamed with arousal as he tilted her head back, leaving her to stare helplessly up at the ceiling light. Her head spun as his tongue snaked its way down her neck.
“First lesson,” he rasped against her skin.
I want more of her. All of her.
I want to drive her wild every single night until she's learned all the sinfully wicked things I need to teach her.
But someone is trying to tear us apart. Someone’s gunning for my company too. What they don’t know is that I’m the kind of man who protects what's his.
My family, my business, and this woman.
I will do whatever it takes.
Just try me.
Sophie Holloway is from her favorite city on earth--Manhattan. When she's not writing, she's likely lost in a museum, basking in the sun in Central Park, or making excuses to buy gourmet cupcakes. She likes shoes, rooftop parties, lockets with surprises inside, arts and crafts (both in equal measure), long goodbyes, longer hellos, good friends, strong coffee and even stronger men. She hopes to meet her very own Prince Charming someday soon!

Jack isn't bashful about his image and skills no not him, "he nodded. “She wants me to teach her how to eff.” Stella’s mouth dropped open. He waved an arm, gesturing down at himself. “I mean, it’s not that hard to believe she wants all this. She’s a Fiorini, after all, and they know quality when they see it.” I liked Eva to me she was adorable, "she reached up flirtatiously and touched the skin between his open collar. “With no tie? I haven’t seen you without a tie since…” Her fingers trailed up his neck. “Well, never.” There was a cliffhanger but I wasn't upset like I normally would be.

The years that were taken can never be repaid.
The memories stolen can never be returned. But I had to move forward…for him, my son. Noah had spent years wondering what he could have done differently. Wondering what he’d done wrong to make Stacey leave. The heartache from her absence and the what-ifs of their past eventually turned to anger—and then disgust. It took years for him to move on, and once he did, his past came thundering back, revealing a secret. A secret that would forever change his future. Alena had waited for the chance to have more with Noah. He was an enigma, a man of mystery, yet she wasn’t quite ready to give up on him. She knew there was more to him than what he allowed those around him to see. She was drawn to his charm and his calm nature. With an uprooted past of her own, she craved a little stability more than anything. But when things between them finally begin to grow into more, their relationship is tested. Will it all be too much for Alena to handle? Or will she decide to stay and be a part of…Noah’s Journey? |
Prologue
Noah
A Little Over Four Years Ago
“I just can’t do this anymore, Noah. This is not the life I want or where I want to be forever. I thought you wanted more too. More than this quiet town with no real hope of being somebody.” Stacey sat on the end of my bed, the sheet still wrapped around her naked body.
Of all the times to have this type of conversation, I never thought it would be now. She chose first thing in the morning when I was already late for work.
“So what are you saying?” I asked as I stood in the doorway, fisting my shirt in my hands. I was trying not to blow up, trying to remain the rational one in this relationship.
“I don’t want to be here, in Livingston, for the rest of my life. I want to go somewhere with greater opportunities. I feel like if I stay here, I’m giving up my dreams. I feel like I’m drowning.”
She stood from the bed and let the sheet fall to the floor. Stacey was a gorgeous woman—tall, fit, and almost angelic. She was also very selfish and spoiled. Everyone called her by first name until she finally forced her parents to change it to her middle name instead. “Jessie” was entirely too hick for her taste.
“Noah, you had to see this coming,” she said. And the lack of compassion in her voice only made my anger grow.
“I had to see this coming? Are you fucking serious right now?” I took a step toward her, and she quickly slipped her shirt on over her head. “I asked you to marry me, and now you’re fucking telling me you’re leaving?” I lifted my hand and gripped my hair, pulling at the ends. “So what the hell was last night? And again this morning? One last roll in the sack before you walk out on me?”
“Come with me,” she said with a hopeful expression.
“I can’t just pick up and walk away. I just got on track with where I want to be at the station. I have the ranch and my responsibilities to my family. Plus, this is my home. I don’t want to leave.”
“Then you’re choosing this place and all of them over us.” She actually had the nerve to look hurt and offended.
I stood in the center of the room, watching as she began grabbing items and tossing them in her bag. “I have to get out of here. I gave you the option to come with me, and you declined. So that is on you.”
Heat rose in my neck, and a swooshing sound filled my ears as I fought against my anger. “It’s on me, what the fuck? You’re truly something else, you know that? You throw this shit at me five minutes before my shift starts at the station and have the nerve to blame the end of us on me. You fucking did this.”
She ignored me as she finished dressing and gathered some more of her things. I stepped up behind her and grabbed the bag from her hands, making her stop what the hell she was doing and look at me.
Stacey spun around and gasped as I leaned in, bringing my face only inches from hers. “This is all on you. You’ve been planning this escape all along. Now you want to blame me.” I stepped back and held my arm out, pointing toward the door of my apartment. “Get out,” I said through gritted teeth. “I’ll send your shit to your parents, because right now I can’t fucking look at you a minute longer.”
Her eyes widened, and she covered her mouth with her hand. I gave a sarcastic chuckle as I shook my head. She had already pushed me past my breaking point, and I was through playing the nice guy. “Cut the tears, Stacey. You wanted this, you got it. Now get out. I’m not holding you back from your perfect life any longer.”
I waited until the door slammed before I caved and sat on the end of the bed. My clothes from last night were still tossed around the room. I had given her years of my life, thinking we had a future.
I guess her being younger and unsettled should have warned me off, but her vibrant attitude was what had attracted me from the start. Now I just felt like a dumbass for not seeing what others saw in her. She was a wild card, but I took a chance.
Never again.

I really liked Noah. Although at times it was touch and go because of his lack of skills (not the bedroom ones those were perfectly), "once again, a husky chuckle filled the room. “Oh, darlin’, I plan on doing that and a whole lot more, over and over again,” he assured me. I groaned, and he placed a kiss against my shoulder. “But I promise I’ll give you some time to reboot before I take over again.” I enjoyed this book C.A. always writes heartfelt stories.
