Nothing Sweeter by Laura Drake

Being in Bree's mind is...s*** it's entertaining is what it is, "do you want to go for a ride?" His long legs in snug denim hugged all the right places as he stood leaning against Charlie's stall, a cocky smile on his face. Boy, do I. I'd love to throw a leg over you." Max you can tell that he'd really do anything for his girl, "hey, lady, you say it, I believe it." His stomach growled. Ignoring it, he added. "I've been thinking on your idea. Wyatt and I talked, and we're ready to sit down and meet when you are." Her face lit up like a little girl on Christmas. And it made him feel like Santa. Well, a younger, randy, Santa." And you just do NOT interrupt Max while him and his girl are getting sweet, "Max? Wyatt's voice echoed from the end of the aisle. "Where's the-oh. Sorry." Max growled. Bree patted him on the butt, relishing feeling sexy and desired. She whispered, "Later, cowboy," in his ear and slipped out of his arms." I really enjoyed reading this book.

Texas Hold 'em by Christie Craig

Austin is quite the charmer ladies, "well, I was thinking about taking a pi** when someone started pounding on my door." Poor Leah she's just so adorable at times, "odd?" She glanced down and didn't see anything odd about her boobs. They were perfectly good, wine-doused, small size-C boobs. Well, one was a little bigger than the other, but that was normal." He takes a real man to go to the feminine aisle, "it took a good three minutes to find the slim medium absorbent. Snatching up the twenty-four pack - just like she'd purchased - he studied the tampons one more time to make sure he had the right kind." I really did love the relationship Austin and Leah had:
He kissed her. "We're going to have to make a run to get some more condoms. I only have three more."
She made a cute face. "I think that's enough."
He rolled on top of her. "Then clearly you didn't enjoy that as much as I did."
I like a man who'd commit murder for his gal:
She leaned in. "They saw me naked."
Unable to resist, he pulled one hand out and passed a finger over her cheek. "You want me to kill 'em?"

Once in a Lifetime by Jill Shalvis

Ben and Aubrey's relationship is erm...interesting:
He put his finger under her chin and brought her face back to his. "You've been crying," he said again.
She blew out a sigh and slapped his hand away. "You're a man. Your're not supposed to notice."
Ben he's a nice guy always wants to do the nice thing:
"It's the neighborly thing to do," he settled on.
                    "We're not neighbors."
"Okay, it's the thing to do for someone who screamed your name as she came."
He sometimes likes to give Aubrey pointers, "you should feel free to show me this bossy side of you in bed anytime." And he loves to give her compliments, "you drive me crazy," he said against her mouth. "You taste so effing good. You always taste so effing good." He really tries to do the nice thing, "so you're being a gentleman by stripping?" He also learns that a drunk Aubrey is sure a fine thing to deal with, "okay, first of all, I didn't sleep with you to make amends. I slept with you because I wanted to." He stilled didn't say anything, and she pointed at him again. "And you know what? It was your own damn fault. It was those jeans you wear, and the tool belt. It was the size of your hammer!" Never a dull moment with these two and that's why I loved the book.

Destined to Fall by Tamsyn Bester

Kyler's mind is something else, "my mind unwillingly drifts back to Quinn's friend. Why the eff can't I remember her name? Dammit. Maybe I should try and see her again?" Cassey that girl has no problems giving Kyler sass, "don't eff with me, Kyler," I whisper harshly. "I don't have time for your games, and I sure as s*** don't want to be another notch on your bedpost." Kyler has issues waking up alone, "well, Ms. Emerson," I grind out. "It is urgent. You weren't in my bed when I woke up this morning, and it's a problem." Kyler likes to make sure his terms and conditions are met, "the only term and condition I need is that I get to eff you whenever, and wherever the mood strikes, and you of course have the same privilege." I love the relationship between Kyler and Cassey:
"That's good," I reply, giving him a cheeky grin. "Because I happen to think you have a very sexy a**."
"I know," he grins. "You've left quite a few nail marks for me to find."
I always love reading Tamsyn's book so it was no surprise that I fell in love with this one right off.

Temptation Bay by Anna Sullivan

Dex sure is a snarky one, "I don't want the spiel," he corrected her. "I'm not against conversation in general though, and since I'm the customer, and it's your policy to make the customer happy..." He's also not very gentlemanly either, "knock it off or you're going to take us both down, and if we go down, I'm not doing the manly thing and falling on the bottom to spare you." Maggie when that girl wants something she's a go-getter, "she shoved her chair back, fisted her hand in his t-shirt, and when they both came to their feet, dragged him against her. "You heard me," she said, crushing her mouth to his." Dex the more we get into the story the more playful he seems to be, "would you prefer lady friend? Private flight attendant? Friend with benefits?" These two are just perfect for each other and I loved reading their story.

Shadowdance by Kristen Callihan

Holy crap boy oh boy did I enjoy this book! I have to find the others in the series (this can be read as a stand alone) I just really loved the chemistry between Mary and Jack. Jack sweet Jesus, lord in heaven I loved his response to her when they first met, "she took a step closer, and his nostrils flared, his body growing harder than oak. God. Speak, you bloody idiot" Mary she knows how to push that man's buttons, "why Master Talent, are you trying to tell me that you think about my knickers?" His lips pinched so tight that she had to bite back a grin. A low growl rumbled from the vicinity of his chest." But he knows how to push her right back, "keep looking at me," he said between bites, not bothering to lift his attention from his food, "and soon I'll have a swelled head." No need to tell her which head he was referring to." He's a blunt type of man, "his words came out clipped and controlled. "And you thought watching me stroke my co** would disabuse you of this distrust?" And that girl knows how to shock the hell out of her man, "had I known," she said, running a hand over his sweaty back, "I'd have insisted we shag the moment we met." As I said I need to get a hold of the other books in this series.

Shit Kickers & Stilettos by Rita Sawyer

I think Dade has the hots for Ms. Rosie when we first start the book with the way he acts, "so I can assume since you won't be having my company there's not one special for you right now." He didn't step back when she spun around." Sometimes Dade has a hard time with words, but Rosie knows how to push him to get him to say how he feels, "Dade wasn't going to let it end like this so he grabbed her arm and pulled her back blocking her exit. "I didn't like the way he was trying to get touchy-feely with you, so I wanted to make sure he knew to stay the eff away." He knows how to sweep a girl off her feet with promises, "other than lying in my arms every night I can guarantee hot wild sex at least five nights a week." I really liked this book, I do love me some cowboys.

The Proposition 2 by H.M. Ward

Hallie, she has a great friend in Maggie, "I'll take his balls off. What the hell happened? Where are you?" Bryan he maybe had gotten into some better graces with me but not by much. Deep down I really do think he still has feelings for Hallie, he just has to be an a** about everything to make her pay you know? "Perhaps, but it wasn't because he took your bag." He leans back and slips both hands into his pockets as those green eyes slide over me. "No one touches you while you're with me." Deep down that's his way of saying he cares...I think. He's also really possessive, "I should have clarified the terms of my silence." Bryan is standing in front of us in the doorway between the living room and the kitchen. "There's to be no intimacy of any kind between you two, while Hallie is with me and I'm not done with her yet." Some naughty boy made a little surprise appearance wanted to kick his a** (not telling who). But overall I can't wait for the next installment.

Shocking Heaven by D.H. Sidebottom

Jax, he's a real suave man, "this one's for E. She makes me effin' hard boys." Jax he's a man of few words, "babe?" Jax growled from across the table. There it was again! Did I not warrant more than a single word? Did he think I was to dumb to comprehend more than three?" After a show Jax he's all for his girl, "Jax grabbed me and kissed the damn life out of me. He was primed and pumped, "Gonna eff you so hard, babe. Effin' epic." He's brutally honest, "yeah. I effed babe, but now I'm yours and we love, not eff. So, now? No, I don't eff!" Sometimes it takes some coaxing to get E out of a room, "yeah, babe. So...Damn...Hard. My hand is slowly stroking up and down it's stiff length. There's a little but of cum on the end, babe, and it's all yours." He's a man for sweet words. I really can't wait to read about the rest of the band.

Spurs & Stilettos by Ashley Johnson

Wesley you can't help but love his charm, "nice to meet you Hope. I won't bite, I swear. I may nibble and that's it." He's just so dreamy, "his eyes got intense as he grabs the same hand he kissed earlier and pulls me forward to where only I can hear him. "Oh sweetheart, I promise you I am very real." Amber she is such a great friend always there for Hope, "late hooker. Make sure he wears a condom!" And she hung up. My face is beet red, what the hell was she thinking saying that? Oh that's right, she doesn't care." I liked this book, I love me some yummy cowboys!

Meant for Me by L.P. Dover
(A Second Chances Stand Alone)
Release Date: December 30th 2013
Genres: Contemporary, New Adult, Romance

Synopsis:
After a night of raw passion with the man Claire O’Briene had been secretly admiring for years, she thought their time together had come once and for all. Fate had finally brought them back to each other, but unfortunately nothing had changed. He was still the same man who ran away from relationships. Against his better judgment, Mason Bradley gave in to the temptation and allowed himself one night with the one woman he’d been too afraid to want … too afraid to need.

Six months after leaving Claire and regretting every minute of it, Mason gets called in for an undercover mission that’s not only dangerous, but brings back a past he spent years trying to forget. A past of fighting … of getting in the ring and using his fists to get what he wanted: money, women, and drugs. Now there are fighters turning up dead, and it’s Mason’s job to find out the truth.

Knowing he might not come out of the mission alive, Mason seeks out Claire to tell her how he truly feels, only to find another man competing for her love as well. Fighting is what he’s good at, and for once he will be fighting not only for justice … but for love.

Excerpt:
Chapter Four
Mason

I didn’t realize how much she despised me until the moment I stepped into the doorway and Claire saw me, and I saw the outright venom in her eyes. From that look alone I knew she wouldn’t take me back, but it wasn’t going to stop me from trying. I came here for a reason and I’m not leaving until I do what I told myself I was going to do. I was going to put everything on the line.
As I watched Claire turn her back on me and walk away, I had the deepest urge to handcuff her to a chair and make her listen to me. However, forcing her would only push her away even more. When I handcuffed her to anything it would be out of mere pleasure, not anger. I was determined to get her back. Rushing out of the house, I grabbed Claire’s arm before she could go any further and turned her to face me.
“Let me go, Mason,” she ordered through clenched teeth.
Her body was coiled tighter than a snake, but when I grabbed her other arm and pulled her closer, I could feel the tension in her muscles loosen and she noticed it, too. I wanted to kiss those lips of hers that tasted sweet like honey with the hint of raspberries, and feel her bare skin on my fingers. Seeing her now only reminded me of how stupid I had been to let her go, and now it was too late. Or was it?
“Please give me this chance, Claire,” I murmured in her ear. “There are so many things I need to tell you. I know you’ve moved on to someone else, and it’s kind of obvious with his name plastered all over your body, but I can’t leave here without telling you how I feel.” I paused and took a deep breath. “I’ve missed you, Claire. I missed you the moment you drove away from me at the airport four months ago.”
“Why are you doing this now?” she asked incredulously, pulling her arms out of my grasp and crossing them over her chest.
She stepped back, one small step after another, and the further she moved away the further I could feel her slipping away. A tear slid down her cheek and she wiped it away, whispering, “Things are finally going good for me, Mason. I can’t have you screwing that up.”
Nodding, I lowered my head and blew out a shaky breath. “I understand, and if you’re truly happy then what I have to tell you won’t matter at all. I have to get this out or I may never get the chance again. Claire, I …”
Unfortunately, that was as far as I’d gotten before the sound of Cooper’s truck coming down the long driveway stopped me. Are you fucking kidding me? When am I ever going to catch a break? It was perfect timing on his part, but terrible for mine. Skeptically, he glanced from me to Claire and then settled his gaze on me with a scowl on his face. It was obvious he knew who I was, and if not it was obvious he didn’t care for me. Claire glanced nervously behind her, and I knew my moment to tell her how I felt was lost. Would I get a chance to before I left? I had no clue, but I had to try. Before Cooper could get out of his truck, I stepped closer to Claire and let her see the seriousness in my eyes.
“Meet me tonight,” I muttered quickly. “You know where.”
Past her shoulder I could see Cooper approaching, but she kept her glistening blue eyes my way. If she didn’t agree to meet me tonight there was still the possibility I’d never see her again. Any time I went undercover was dangerous and I always had to accept the probability that it could be the last mission I ever went on. It was the way it worked.
“I’m sorry, Mason, but I can’t. I can’t risk everything just because you show up on my doorstep. If you want my trust or my heart you need to fight for it … you need to earn it. Until you’re willing to do that I don’t want to see you again,” she uttered boldly.
Cooper finally made it to us and put his arm around Claire’s shoulders, pulling her into his side. “Everything okay?” he asked, gazing down at her before turning a lethal glare my way.
Claire wrapped her arms around his waist and nodded, smiling up at him. “Yes, everything’s fine.” Her smile disappeared when she glanced back at me. “I was just telling Mason good-bye.”
With those last words she turned her back on me for the second time today while Cooper stayed behind. We both watched her climb into his truck and shut the door, keeping her gaze on anything but us.
“What are you doing here?” Cooper asked angrily, crossing his arms over his chest. He was a couple of inches taller than me, but height never mattered anyway. We were almost identical as far as body size, but I knew without a doubt I could take him in a fight.
“Not that it’s any of your business,” I replied with a sly grin on my face, “but if you must know I came to visit my cousin.”
Cooper scoffed. “Well, whatever the reasons are you better stay away from Claire. I know who you are and what you did to her. However, I guess I should be happy that you were such an idiot because now I have her and you don’t. So thank you for that.”
“I don’t think you’ll be thanking me when I get her back,” I warned with a smirk on my face. “I let her go once, but it was a mistake I’ll never make again. I’ll fight for her no matter what it takes. You can count on that.”
I was determined to get her back and of that I was certain.

Pulse by Brooke Jaxsen

Wow Skylar a** much? "listen, lady, I'm just trying to do my job. I'm a bouncer, if you want the kind of guy that'll give you his number out of obligation, try the bartender or better yet, another club. There's a strip club down the street, I'm sure many guys there would oblige your request." Skylar has this way about him where he speaks you listen, "great, should we go dance more, babe? I can fit in one more song on my break," asked Sylar, looking me straight in the eyes in a way that to the girls, probably looked like the gaze of a lover, but to me, was a commanding glare." Also he's just so romantic in the bedroom, "shorts off. Get this di** inside of you, and fast, Emma."

Dallas’s Thoughts on When He Got the Idea to Create the Statue for Carmen

I spent the last couple of hours with Carmyn at the shop. I told her I needed her help with something so she’d show up. I didn’t really, but my plan is to keep her occupied with me, so it is what it is. She obliged and while I was working away on some final touches of Aphrodite, she moved through a small patch on the floor to a song only in her head. Her arms spread out as she spun, and her hair fanned wide around her. That was when a brilliant idea struck.

I put down my welding gloves and grabbed my sketch book and a pencil. I worked franticly to get her form down as perfectly as I saw it in that small move she did. The line of her neck, the way her fingers splayed gracefully against the air, the arch in her back, even the slight waves in her dark locks.

I know now what my next project after Aphrodite will be: Carmyn’s grace molded into metal for all time. I won’t be getting paid for this project. Not unless I decide to sell it later, but the excitement I have over just the thought of this creation is more than enough to keep me at the shop for For days at a time. This could very well be my favorite piece. Ever.

As soon as Carmyn left—and of course after I made her promise she’d be back tomorrow night—I Googled French and Portuguese words to help me figure out what to name this new project of ours. French and Portuguese because it’s Carmyn’s heritage.

I think I’ve finally come up with something perfect enough to capture a fraction of Carmyn’s beauty. Belle Mulher. Belle for beautiful in French, and Mulher for woman in Portuguese. The way the vowels roll along my tongue reminds of my first kiss with Carmyn. It’s exotic but delicate and strong at the same time. And it’ll give me a reason to spend hours with her.

Perfect from every angle I look at it.

Sex Piston by Jamie Begley

Stud's compliments may be vulgar and could be said in a maybe I don't know nicer way, but they're still compliments, "your ti*s are the best I've ever seen, and your a** is even better. Ace was a stupid bas**** to mess around on you." And don't even think about putting your hands on his woman he will go ape s***, "which mothereffing a**hole touched you? Because they're going to regret touching something that's mine." Sex Piston she doesn't sugar coating anything, and Stud well he when he wants something bad enough he'll agree to anything:
"Your di** gets too much action. I don't eff someone doing other bit**es and don't ever think that you can tell me what I want. Until you start wearing my panties, I think I'm the best judge of who I want to eff."
Stud shrugged. "Fine. I won't eff any other women. I'll let you have until we're done eating to make up your mind that you want to eff me."
The girl doesn't put up with his bulls*** either, "you want a piece of a**, it better be mine because if I ever see another bit** up against you like that again, I'll effing neuter you and you'll be the bit** in this relationship."

BLOG TOUR REVIEW/GIVEWAY: Conflicted Love by Lola Stark

Oh Lord I think this book was better than the first installment! Teeny, I loved that girl, "no, Trip. No I'm not sure at all. I haven't had needles jammed into my arms, pi**d on sticks and spent most of my days for the last few weeks throwing up for sh**s and giggles," she snapped at me." It was interesting being in the boy's head, "I mean, it was a sh***y way to find out, and it was kind of sprung on me. What was I supposed to do? Skip around in circles smiling and handing out candy canes while rainbows came out of my a**?" Trip never needs to worry about Teeny not taking care of herself, "you put me on my a**. How am I the one making a scene?" I growled as I stumbled to my feet, the pain slowing to a deep throb. "Damn it, Teen. You near broke my nose and I'm pretty effin' certain my balls are permanently damaged." He's really a caveman ladies, "don't push me, Princess. I'm clear out of give-a-effs and my di**'s so hard it could hammer nails. Move that sweet a** before I bend it over and eff it into oblivion," I growled in her ear driving the point home with a quick swat to her a**." I mean Trip knows how to pacify his woman just to make her happy, "I'm not calling you fat, Princess. You get to carry the baby around all the time. I want to carry your things so I don't feel left out." I mean the boy has a damn ego the size of a football field, "my seed is strong, woman. It makes big healthy boys. With large penises." Yeah I'm so ready for the next book in this series.

Shooter by Dahlia West

Chris, he's a little overbearing at times, "Slick. I swear to effing Christ above if you don't open this door and let me get a look at you, I will break it the eff down." Slick and Chris they really do have a great relationship which kinda started off weirdly, but Chris I could just eat his fine a** up, "you busted my balls over the house. Then giving you a ride home. Then the lawn. Now the groceries. Seems like you hold a grudge for a long time, woman." Slick the woman doesn't ask for much so honestly I think she's perfect for Chris, "I just want roast beef," she declared. "And I want you to wear underwear." Tex, he's a man and well like any other man you can buy him over with food like seriously these five boys all they seem to do it eat, Slick treats them well, "supervised!" Tex reminded him, taking a bite of his sandwich. "Oh, God these are good," he nearly shouted. "We have to give her the blowtorch. These sandwiches are too good not to give her a blowtorch." You know Chris comes off as a big ole' meanie but he has a big ole' soft spot for his girl, especially where kittens are concerned, "there was an ad for kittens in paper on Sunday. I just went to check it out, that's all. It's not like I was really looking." I can't wait for the rest of the boys to get their books.

BLOG TOUR REVIEW: The Replacement by Rachael Wade

A lot to take in with this book, I really thought I'd hate Elise but honestly I loved her. I loved how she was always honest in what she was doing and sort of knew how she was, "you know what I'm concerned about, Tim? The fact that men like you seem to think all women like me don't give a damn about anything. Stop acting like just because I give it to someone else besides you that I'm a worthless sl** with no life ambition." So at first I was on Team Christian just because I liked how he carried himself, and how he talked, "you know I love that smart mouth of yours. If you were here right now, I'd teach it a lesson. Don't deny me, Elise. You know I won't take no for an answer." I mean he seemed to care, "Elise, relax. I'm not asking you to have my children. Surely, you can eat a meal with me after I eff you senseless, yes?" He seemed genuine, "you know I'm a rich man, Elise. I would take care of you, take care of everything. I'd pay for you to go back to college. Anything you want, it's yours."  He's sort of demanding, but doesn't really care what she had to do, "I want a relationship. With you. No one else. And I want you all to myself, yes. I won't apologize for it. I don't care about the other men you've been seeing. Stop seeing them. Move in with me." But then I find out he's married, and cheats so it was no more Team Christian for me by Team Ryder, who seems to look past Elise's mistakes, "why does that surprise you?" he asks as he resumes the lead. "You're a beautiful woman, Elise. Inside and out, no makeup or hair products necessary." Ryder the boy has some embarrassment issues to work out, "I lean in to the kiss and bite back a grin as he hurries out the door. He's clumsily wrapping his belt back around him and cursing under his breath as he tries to secure it, and I can't take my eyes off his backside as he strolls down the hall." And he doesn't like to share, "I wanted to give you your Christmas present and ask you to be mine- not just someone I screw, Elise. Mine. My girl." I hope Natalie gets a book her own she was another character I fell in love with.

Beautiful Addictions by Season Vining

Tristan is a protector and if his girl gets hurt, well the boy gets pi**ed, "what the eff?" he replied, garnering the attention of every guest in the quiet establishment." I loved how Tristan would tell Josie stories about their childhood and I loved getting Josie's reactions to those stories:
"Yeah. That's an understatement. You didn't talk to me for like three days, a record for us."
"Damn, guess I cut you off too?" she asked.
"We weren't having sex at fourteen, Josie."
                     "Nothing?" She asked.
                     "Nothing past second base."
Josie is a little hellion and knows all the right moves to get her man moving, "she ran her hand up his thigh with a feather-light touch. Scratching her nails up the seam of his zipper. Josie was pleased with the deep moan Tristan let out." I think there's going to be a book, well the ending leaves things open for more, so maybe there will be a book two. I loved this book about second chances, had action, sex, psycho people, good book.

Knight of the Highlander by Kristin Vayden

Colin has a little problem the boy can't take his mind off his girl, or I should say he can't get her out of his mind, "he turned once again to the simmering fire and picked up a new iron. This one he wouldn't beat to a shattered pulp, he hoped. As long as her focused on anything but Arywnn." He's cray cray about his girl and sweeter than honey to her, "ah, sweet Arywnn. When have I ever treated you as a child? If my memory serves me correctly, my kisses spoke otherwise." He also appreciates his woman looks, "Colin's eyes follower the movement and then trailed up slowly, taking in her nightdress with obvious approval. "Perhaps I should let you beat it out of me...you present a tempting offer." His lips slipped into a crooked grin." I do love my historical romances, sometimes they're a little difficult to follow so i normally have to look up what words mean, I had to do that a few times with this book, but other than a few not know what the words meant this book is a great read. Some sweet kisses, some steamy kisses and some action what's not to love.

My Precious One by Evangelene

Lexi, she's an independent girl, "thank you." I said as I took it. "You know, I can pay for my own ticket. I realize that you think I'm some sort of poor meager waitress, but I do work hard for my money." And she knows how to throw sass, "I came dressed like this to prowl, Sir Lukas. I'm here to find someone to eff and last time I checked you were a customer at the bistro I work for, not my father, not my lover and more certainly not my husband." Lukas it likes spending time with his girl, "eff baby, can't you call in sick?" he grabbed me from behind, as I was trying to get dressed. "Looking at you just makes me hard." He wants to take care of his girl, "Alexia if you need money, I'll take care of you. Don't accept these damn extra shifts to stay away from me." he barked." He knows how to stand up for her, great first meeting with her mom, "Alexia and I started dating and I'm very interested in your daughter and I would like it if you stop setting her up with idiots that will never understand her." He loves how his girl dresses, "eff baby, you look sensational. God damn it, I want us to go out in public. When you dress like that, all I want to do is effin' take you home and lick every inch of your body until I get your sweet pu**y wet and eat up the mess I caused." I wonder if Lexi's friends are going to get their own book.

With this book it took me reading a couple of reviews to convince me to read it, and that's perfectly okay because to me that's what reviews are used for. And I'm glad I decided to read this book, it had everything I was looking for action, sex, romance, an alpha male bad-a**, and well some disturbing content, but what's a good book without a little disturbing content. Logan you know he does everything for a reason, I know the minute he protected his 'Mouse' that he wasn't a bad guy, but was perhaps forced into a situation of life and death and the protection of others and although I thought he could have had more balls in the beginning with some of the situations he handled himself well, "Logan moved fast, knocking his hand off my hair and grabbing him by the shirt and slamming him against the van. "She's mine. You get that. You don't get to touch her - ever." Eme that girl had balls and half the book I was screaming 'YOU GO GIRL, YOU SHOW HIM WHOSE BOSS!' "Is that how you live with yourself? No, you just took away my choices. You watched while other people beat me. You bled my self-esteem. Damn it, you tore my effing heart out." And even thought Logan made some naughty choices he still took care of his girl when he couldn't be around, "I own the effin' place, Emily. You've been living on my farm for two years." Once again I'm glad the reviews swayed my mind it made me realize how important they truly are, and I was glad I read this book.

Slack by JA Huss

I love me some Ford. He's a busy boy, so I have to thank him for allowing us to view what one of his days would be like. He's a sexy guy, and he likes what he likes, even if it may seem strange, kinky, and kinda rude, but if Ford didn't have those kind of qualities he wouldn't be well...Ford. "Count to ten, come in, shut the door behind you, and then crawl to the table." I must say he has a strange way in starting his days, "I grin widely. The coffee's still how, I ran, I got a blowjob, and I'm ready for whatever the eff this stupid Christmas Eve decides to throw at me." I guess you could say Ford isn't really a shopper, "why is this place even open, it's effing Christmas Eve. Isn't everyone home with their families doing family s*** and eating crap by the handfuls, wishing that everyone's kids would just shut the eff up and fall into a post-sugar coma?" I don't think he likes Christmas either." I can't wait to get his whole story.

Keeping the Peace by Hannah Hooton

Jack needed to show me some things before I fell in love with him, I did eventually, but it was Pippa who had my love through out the whole book. She's feisty, "well, since they don't, do you admit that I might have my uses? I might be a waitress, but I'm not stupid, Jack." She defends herself when Jack gets on her about something stupid, "it was a mistake, Jack." She lifted her hands in a helpless gesture. "I don't make mistakes on purpose." She gives as good as she gets, "fine." She took it and walked away. "One last thing, Jack," she said pausing at the doorway. "Don't you ever talk to me like that again." She even knows how to defend her actions when Jack starts accusing her of something, "I'm ringing a mechanic to go pull my car out of a ditch!" She threw back at him. "If it wasn't for Finn, I'd probably be in some A&E hypothermia right now!" Jack he sure knows how to be an a**," I can't accept this as a gift. I haven't gotten you anything. I didn't even think to get you anything." His eyes darkened as she became more bewildered. "Exchanging Christmas presents is what friends and family do. I - I'm your boss." He did  have some promising moments, but the boy was just mostly an a** through out the book, which was okay, he just had to work a lot harder to gain my love.

BLOG TOUR REVIEW: Quintessentially Q by Pepper Winters

Tess the girl has more balls then book 1, "what the hell, Q? That's the third time this week. You going to tell me what you're dreaming about to warrant howling like a werewolf?" Q he can admit things in his mind but NEVER out loud to where people can hear him, "I may be a controlling bas****, but the moment Tess stalked into my life I lost my balls to her." And the things that man says get me all hot and bothered, "tonight, I'm going to tie you upside down and force you to drink my come, esclave. Then I'm going to eat you until you forget your own name." Q he gets defensive about things, "I can take you to dinner without your permission. All I need to do is starve you until you effing yield." He's a possessive man, "damn right I wouldn't allow her to go to the hospital. She needed to heal here. Where I had a top of the line security system and a crew of men ready to kill and then ask questions. She would never be out of my sight again." I think for the first time in Q's life he doesn't know what to do or think, "does she still think I won't let her talk to the outside world! She isn't my effing prisoner. Of course she can have a laptop." I can't wait for the third book!

Cowboy Christmas by Kasey Millstead

I'm always up for spending more time with my Henley boys, Jackson that boy is just as horny as ever when it comes to his woman, "one hand rests on her stomach, while the other wipes the sweat from her forehead. My di** twitches. If she ain't the sexiest woman alive, I'd like to see who is." Jeremy oh he hasn't changed a bit either, "you hear my woman, she's hungry. Fire up that piece of s*** you call a Barbie and let's get this show on the road." And Jackson he still can't help but talk about his superhero sperm, "next time we'll plan it a bit more carefully," I tell her. Then, I add on a grin, "But, I can't help it if my sperm are super swimmers." The holidays just got a whole lot better thanks to these two cowboys.

Exquisite Betrayal by A.M. Hargrove

I loved Ryland the moment we got inside his head, "whoever that gorgeous girl is that rammed into me, I'd like to get to know her. No, scratch that. There's no liking about it. It's more like need." Oh Fallon you're as klutzy as me, "I am mortified because he did, after all, see my a** and nipple. Oh s***, the gorgeous piece of humanity has seen my nipple!" Sometimes, Ryland is a tad my naive:
"Fallon, don't be embarrassed about starting your period."
My breath rushes between my thinned lips. "It's not my period, Ryland. It was my effing virginity."
And you do not want a pi**ed off Fallon, I mean Ryland was kind of an idiot for leaving her in that position so I'm not feeling sorry for him at all, "right. So you pull out and leave me alone, in the shower. Yeah, that was romantic all right." But that's okay because Fallon affects Ryland all the time, "Fallon. Christ, I can't even tickle you without getting stiff." And once again Ryland effs up where Fallon is concerned, "you ignored me in front of her. You acted like I was your afterthought, just a casual someone you happened upon, and it killed me. It's still killing me. Do you want her, Ryland Thomas?" I loved this book!

Jet by Jay Crownover

Jet seems gentlemanly, "Rule sent me a text saying you needed a lift home. I have to go pull Rowdy off that chick and help the guys load the van, but if you can chill for like, thirty, I'll totally give you a ride." He seems openly honest, "I wanna have sex, Ayd. Lots and lots of sex... with you and only you. Does it have to be more than that right now? After last night how can you deny that you want it, too?" I think a certain piercing took Ayden by surprise, "I blinked in surprise when I was face-to-face with not only an impressive erection and ripped abs, but another loop that I hadn't been expecting." Jet he doesn't mind Ayden's curiousness about that piercing, "he grabbed my hand and wrapped the whole thing around the shaft and gave it a squeeze. "I've had it forever. I don't even think about it. You can touch it, you can lick it - in fact why don't you do both of those things on a regular basis?" I really did like this book but I'm really excite for Rome to come out and play in the next book.

My Brother's Best Friend by Becky Andrews

Devin he's just to cute, "uh, yeah, that thing you're doing to my hand. It's completely distracting." I looked down and realized I was stroking his hand with my thumb and then squeezing it with my other fingers." He takes good care of his girl, "I want to be inside you, baby." His voice sounded desperate. "No more teasing." I thought this book was cute, I wish it had gone on a little longer because I felt some things weren't resolved in the book.

Bad Kitty by Eliza Gayle

I knew the minute Rafe saw Kitty that his primal urges were gonna come out, I think that it caught the boy off guard, "he ground his teeth back, knowing these idiots had found her first, giving them rights to claim her. His wolf growled inside him, a low distinct warning. He did not like that idea one bit." He gets real possessive and aggressive especially toward Simon who helped him out in a situation, "I don't think it's a good idea for you to touch her anymore." His skin crawled just having Simon this close to her." Kitty she knows how to push buttons, I mean Rafe I myself wouldn't mind pushing those, "don't assume to know my mind, little cat." He stepped closer. "I may be known for my patience but I'm equally known for my enough is enough attitude. And your pretty little mouth pushes you close to the latter category." Rafe, the boy is horny so I think Kitty will keep him pretty well occupied, "are cats always this chatty when naked in the shower? Enough talk." It was too hard to keep up this line of conversation with an aroused goddess wiggling around in his lap, teasing him. "I want my mate." I liked reading about Kitty.

Beck by Harper Sloan

This installment was okay, I liked it but wasn't in love with it. Dee just pi**ed me off a lot, and I didn't like an event that took place, but Beck being all bada** has a temper, "which part do you think is a game? You refusing to be more than a bed warmer? Not answering the phone when I call because I'm worried about you? No, wait, I've got it. It must be the time that I told you I wanted more than just and itch to scratch and a di** to ride. Please tell me, Dee, because for the life of me, I can't figure out what game I could be playing with you." Cohen I love that little s*** dearly, "two times, but it was Mommy's fault the first time. Daddy's wiener was out, and I was just trying to protect her from seeing it." He leans into my face, so close that our nose touch. "Girls aren't supposed to see wieners, Aunt Dee. And Daddy's wiener was mad that Mommy saw. It was so mad, it was pointing at her!" Beck is the type of man that woman leave his woman behind, "I'll walk out that door the second she's ready to go with me. Not a second before, so shut the eff up about it." He's also a really dirty boy, "just the thought of your body with my come all over you is the hottest effing thing you could have just said. Eff, Dee. You make me want to come all over your body so everyone knows you're mine." Dee toward the end I sorta liked her she grew her back-bone again, "oh, really...you know, I'm aware that he saw me naked, but it also was an accident. When you were running through the house with your di** flopping all over the place for everyone to see, you didn't see me going all crazy. Oh no, I was laughing, because, hello! It's funny!" I really hope Maddox's story is more, alpha than this one was.

Wanted by J. Kenner

*Sighs*, oh Evan, "on the contrary," he said, his voice low and even and so intense it seemed to ease all my protests even before I could voice them. "I paid a great deal of attention. I always do when something matters to me." Angie she has a bit of a temper, "you know what?" I finally said. "It doesn't matter. He's gone. And as far as I can tell, you're gone too." I cocked my head as if I just remembered something. "Oh, did I say gone? Not really the best choice of words, since you shouldn't have even been in my life in the first place. After all, it was just one big mistake. Right?" Evan he sometimes doesn't care who knows that Angie's his, "trust me, I can be very discreet when the occasion calls for it. Right now, though, you're mine. And I don't care who knows it." I liked the story but I wasn't in love with it, I wish Evan had been more dominant.

The Raider by Monica McCarty

I love how Rosalin brings out feelings in Robbie that boy thought he buried long ago, "he was jealous. For the first time in his life the ugly emotion was twisting him up inside, and he couldn't stop it. he was attracted to her. Hell, attracted was putting it mildly. All he had to do was look at her and he was picturing her naked and under him again." And he has a jealous side, "a fresh spike of rage set his teeth on edge. "Nay, she doesn't. She has me. I will protect her." I mean don't get me wrong he has his a**y moments, "to celebrate a successful raid. Unlike you, I didn't get to take my release last night. So unless you want to suck my co** as Deidre has offered to do, I will bid you good night." He cares enough about to her to make sure she's protected, even her reputation, "well, I do." He lifted her chin to look into her eyes. "I will not have you maligned or subject to slurs for what I have done." She really does know how to tempt Robbie, "was it? How should I know when I have nothing to compare it to? But if you aren't up for the challenge, I understand."

A Long Goodbye by Kelly Mooney

Ashton she knows how to get a response out of her man, "I almost dropped the flowers and swallower my tongued when Ashton had opened the door earlier. I swore I could've fallen to my knees asking for her hand at the sight of her." Dane I loved him, "any chance I missed sex on an elevator on that list? Cause, girl, you say the word and I'll stop this thing." He doesn't like other men touching his girl, especially scum, "I almost spit my beer out with what she was wearing, and then was ready to get into a fight with Trevor with the way he held her in his arms." He loves his momma but he don't like her telling him what to do with his girl, "I asked her to marry me and she said yes, and let's not forget the fact that I'm twenty-eight damn years old. So, proper or not, Grace is sleeping in my bed with me tonight. Conversation over." He also says the sweetest things, "one quickie that's all I'm asking for." He ran his mouth down the side of my neck, ranking kisses on every spot. "C'mon, baby, say yes." I liked this book and I hope Dane's brothers get one as well.
