The Trouble With Goodbye by Sarra Cannon

So the mom I thought was pretty cool (at first), "your father and I don't care about that car. We can always just buy you a new one," she says. "I feel awful for the way I acted last night. I should have been kissing that boy's feet for rescuing you and bringing you home. I can't imagine how scared you must have been." And then Leigh Anne makes a decision for her, and her mom is just a bi***, "I don't understand this at all," she says. "After everything we did to protect you from this, you just throw it all away in a blink of an eye? Do you realize what this will do to our family? Did you even think about that before you opened your mouth?" And Knox I loved that boy to death, "isn't there some rule of logic, then, that says if you're attracted to me and you want to spend time with me, then you should just do it? Or am I wrong about the way we feel about each other?" And he's so open about his feelings as well, "I'm not falling," he says. "I'm already there. Head over heels, helplessly in love with you. And no matter what it is you're holding back, I'll wait for you. I swear to god, I'll do whatever it takes. Whatever you want. I just don't want to lose you." This book I had high hopes for it just didn't meet them I still enjoyed reading the book, but I wasn't really impressed with it.

Gone Wild by Ever McCormick

The cover drove me t want to read the book, it's so pretty! Holy hotness Adam, "I own this mountain, and I don't want vehicles rushing through here ruining everything - especially not vehicles driven by distracted cell phone-using drivers." He's so honest, "I saw you just now, but it's okay. I'm not judging you. I'm not. I happened to be walking by. Seemed odd not to tell you I was here - that's all - so I tried to make a joke of it." He sees her differently than other people and I think Ina really likes that about him, "I think you're perfect the way you are, which is, to say, wild - untamed." He moved slightly closer until I could see the black shadow accents in his pale irises. "You have no idea how happy I am that he effed up, do you?" He's not modest at all, "Adam stood in the shallow waves, not the least bit ashamed of the full frontal view he was giving me." I really did enjoy reading this book.

Falling For my Husband by Pamela Ann

Sweet jesus this cover is doing things to my ovaries! Callum he's there's no words to describe that hunk, "Callum groaned, so I looked up and found him with an intense frown as he toyed with his pen, shifting from finger to finger." Stella that girl is...I just loved her, "you're not serious? What's the delay? I could pretty well do it myself! Just pull your boxers down and I'll do the bloody deed." There are some things that just turn him on, "I almost lost my bearings when I found she didn't have any knickers on." He's also not very good at sharing things, "you effing bet your life it's just you and me! If that's what you're used to now, you better make a quick reform because I don't share, not now, not ever!" I liked this book and I would love to see Lucinda's story next.

RELEASE DAY BLITZ: Garden of Eden by L.L. Hunter

Blurb

Eden Daylesford is a sixteen- year old Nephilim girl stuck smack bang in the middle of a war between angels and demons. And the bad thing is, she shares both of their blood.

It could stop Eden from forming any sort of relationship with anyone, including the tempting Asher. Eden has no idea just how powerful she is.
Will she learn to embrace her new ability and accept her new role, or go back to her old life of an ordinary human teenager?

Will she be tempted?

The enticing first book in the spin off novella series to The Legend of the Archangel. Set after events in The Chronicles of Fire and Ice.

Excerpt

I ran so fast I felt one with the wind. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough.  Sooner or later my mother would track me down but until then I’ll enjoy myself. As I entered the arcade I heard my name.
“Yo, Eden.”
“Eden! You escaped.”
I smiled as I saw my friends approach. “Yeah I escaped the clutches of the evil demon.”
“You shouldn’t joke about that stuff, it could be real,” said Zoe innocently. Zoe was my best friend and still an innocent. Her boyfriend Mike thought he understood all. Even though they were Nephilim too, I couldn’t let them learn who my father was.
“It is real, Zo. If there are angels, there are demons. You can’t have one without the other.”
“Who says?” I defended as I retrieve the air hockey puck out of the slot and place it on the table. It begins sliding around in a small circle, waiting for me to hit it.
“Says I.” Mike took the position opposite me and waited. I narrowed my eyes and glared at him. Zoe always says I do this thing with my eyes that could make every boy swoon, but I don’t believe it. How could one person’s eyes make someone swoon? As I wacked the air hockey puck, Mike seemed distracted by something, so the puck sailed straight down into my goal at his end. The electronic voice announced the score to be one nil and that seemed to break his reverie.
“Mike, what happened? You were totally out of it.” Zoe placed a hand on his bicep.
“No, I wasn’t.”
“Yes, you were. You totally let Eden win.”
“It was just a lucky shot,” I said in defence. I couldn’t let them think that somehow I had something to do with Mike’s off-with-the-faeries moment. Did I? It couldn’t be possible. I didn’t just cause Mike to space out and act as if he and I were the only ones left on earth? Did I?
“That never happens, baby.”
“Okay, maybe this turn will be better.” Mike retrieved the puck out of the slot on his side and placed it on the table, ready to hit. I stood ready, but this time I was the distracted one. I couldn’t get the feeling out of my head that I had revealed one of my powers to him. My mother said to never do that. But was it even one of my traits? The air hockey puck sailed straight under me and landed in his goal. One- all.
“Oh yeah!” Mike hooted, but I didn’t feel like partying anymore. I walked away from the table.
“Oh, what’s the matter, Eden, afraid of being beat?”
“No, I just don’t feel like playing anymore.”
“Oh, come on! We were right in the middle of a game!”
I walked away ignoring their pleas as the allure of the hoop game called me over. I had just pushed a token in the slot and picked up a ball, when I heard my name. But it wasn’t from Mike or Zoe.
“So this is where you spend your runaway hours?” I glanced over my shoulder and saw the creep standing behind me.
“Who are you and what do you want?”
“Don’t you see the family resemblance?” he smirked.
I turned to take a good look at him, intrigued. The guy had to be about my mother’s age, maybe a little older and had the same grey- blue eyes my mother has.
“Uncle Adam?”
“In the flesh. Now lets get out of here.”
I chuckled as I turned back around and threw a ball at the highest scoring hoop. It went in. “I am not going anywhere with you.”
Adam clapped. “Good shot. But its not surprising, seeing whose blood you carry in your veins.”
“Do you mean yours and Mum’s, or…”
“Lakyn’s?” He finished for her. “Either way, you have so many abilities you are not even aware of, Eden. And some of them are quite dangerous.”
“How do you know this?”
“I was there from the moment you were born. Trust me, I know.”
I tossed another ball in, this time in a lower scoring hoop and it went in as well. “I’m still not going with you.” As I picked up a third ball and pushed it towards the hoops, it froze mid- air. I gasped and looked back at my uncle. He shrugged.
“Game over.”
As he walked away, the ball remained frozen.
“Wait, how did you do that?” I asked, glancing back and forth from the ball to him.
“If you come with me, I’ll tell you.”
“My mother sent you, didn’t she?”
“She might have.”
“So what you just did, can I do that?”
“Everyone’s traits are different, but probably. If you come with me, you can find out more.”
“I can’t just leave my friends.”
“Yes, you can. You can always make new friends.”
I stopped walking and looked at my friends playing the Daytona. Mike was showing Zoe how to drive, which was really cute. And then I looked at my uncle, waiting patiently outside the mouth of the arcade by a black town car. If I stayed, I would never know what my traits would be, I would never learn how to use them. But I would be a normal teenager, going to school and hanging out at the arcade with her friends. If I went with my uncle, I would no longer be normal. I wanted both lives. But the idea of having amazing powers intrigued me most. In the end I chose door two. Looking back I regretted leaving my friends. But I knew they would never understand. I knew deep down that I was made for a higher purpose.

Effortless with You by Lizzy Charles

This book had my emotions all twisting and turning and I loved it! Lucy the girl has balls, "no. That wasn't your place. Do you think you're like a god or something? 'You deserved to know.' Total bull. Don't I deserve to be treated with respect?" There was one scene I literally almost peed my pants laughing, "another side effect you may notice is some additional attitude and aggression. She apparently hit that boy rather hard across his face when he carried her into the emergency room." Justin I mean there is more to him that meets the eyes he's just so dreamy, "well, you have more to say than you let people know. Also you are not my number-one fan. And you throw a good punch." I mean there were parts my heart broke, "that's seriously all he cares about, huh? This stupid painting business. Why can't I be somebody to him? To anybody?" This book is about Lucy finding out who she is, and who's worth having in her life and taking out the trash I really did enjoy reading this book.

The Lost Trucker by Rose Dewallvin

Sweet baby jesus Ryder, "I think you should stick around for a little while. I would love to get to know you. You can walk into me any day of the week." I mean my ovaries are in over-drive right now so demanding and bossy he is, "I will be back in two days. You will have dinner with me when I get back. I would love to get to know you." And he's PIERCED ladies holy hotness, "I run my hand down his chest lightly going over his nipples that I realize are pierced which is hot as hell." Couldn't agree more. I was upset about the ending and all the secrets Ryder has. If it didn't have a cliffhanger the book probably would have made my night.

Take Me Out by Danielle A. Elwood

Bentley he's something else, cocky that is what he is, "you were just going to let me walk away like that?" He's honest, "I don't make it a point to pick up girls Charlotte. I am not really a relationship type," he replied. "Please take this, it is for you." Really not a relationship type? Then why go through all the trouble my man? Charlie, she's honest as well, "well, I assumed since we're now in my bedroom, on the bed, that you wanted a piece of a** and I simple cannot give you what you want." And Bentley he has the voice of utter hotness, "we'll get out and continue where we left off, I promise baby." I liked this book and I'd love to have Charlie's siblings stories next.

Deadly Crush by Ashley Stoyanoff

One word: Aidan, yep that's what I loved about this book him! "when a wolf picked a mate that was it. It was for life, and the thought of her being someone else's made my stomach clench." He's just all 'alpha' literally and figuratively people, "I was," I snapped. "Spread the word through the pack; Jade is off limits." Erika ugh she's just a bi*** (of course first impressions can be wrong...) "it's really not up for debate, Jade. I know you've been sneaking around, trying to get Dom's attention. And I saw you checking Aidan. They're mine. Both of them." Someone didn't teach her how to share when she was a child. Aidan, oh my god there are seriously no words, "he glanced over his shoulder, and winked. "Your lust. Your scent is screaming sex." He's possessive of Jade and is getting sick of Dom's attitude which I would be to because let's face it Dom and Jade seriously ain't ever gonna happen and it if does I'll piss myself, "bad news, too, though." I said, ignoring his plea. "It's time for you to come clean. Because honestly, if I catch another whiff of jealousy on you, I'll rip you apart." I mean he really is a demanding wolf, "Jade, you are going to be mine," I growled without thought. I slammed my palm against the door so hard it shook. "Fighting me will only delay it, but it won't stop the inevitable. I know you feel it." He really is a cocky sort as well, "mmmm, I love a challenge," he said. His voice turned deep and husky. "You're making this so much more fun, sweetheart. You and I both know you'll submit to me. You'll be mine." Then he has his sweet moments, "actually, yeah, you are. You're my possession. Mine. To protect and love and have. Mine." I didn't like the ending because well there was sort of a cliffhanger and we all know how much I hate those.

Lucky Break by April Angel

Jared and Lucky have an intense attraction right off and you can totally tell there is something between them, especially how Jared reacts to things concerning her, "he refrained from the urge to yell at the idiot who had ruined what had been working so well and marched around the table, leaving the man mid-speech." Lucky is a demanding type of person that likes to have her needs met, "if you don't shove that c*ck into this pretty pink pu**y soon, I will have to hurt you." Jared is always giving Lucky praises, "you look effing amazing with my c*ck in your hand. Keep touching me, baby." He's so possessive as well, "making his way through the crowd, his gaze locked on his woman and he marched right to her." He's just so manly and I loved him, "ah, yes, sweetheart. I want you, baby. Do you want me too?" He always tries to behave, "baby, you're making it damn hard to be a gentleman." I wish the book was longer because I really did fall in love with Jared, "baby, Mr. Sexy is all yours, and I'll be your Mr. Martha Stewart any day you want."

Devious by Suzannah Daniels

I was so excited to see Stone again I fell in love with him in 'Dangerous' and he made me fall more in love with him in this bookie (if that's even possible) he's so caring and protecting, "damn it. I felt like calling her mother and chewing her a** out. How could she treat her only daughter like this?" And he's just bada**, "for the record," Stone whispered in my ear, "I do carry protection." He's so open about certain things, "all right. Then let's talk about something else because right now, all I can think about is getting you out of those jeans." He's so protective, "I protectively placed my free hand over her hand as it rested on my arm, wanting to send a message to these guys that she was mine. I needed her to be mine."

The New Alpha by K.S. Martin

I loved this book, I loved Mac and his thoughts were entertaining, "she should be overjoyed to have such a big strong wolf interested in her no matter what happened back then."  I mean I loved his thoughts, "she was obviously upset but still aroused. Anytime sweetheart, Mac thought." And he doesn't hide the fact that he loves his mate and is very attracted to her, "because she was already in there and anytime she's around I have trouble keeping my hands and mouth to myself." He grinned." And he's so considerate of Tina's needs, "go on, I'll be there in a second, we can play when you're not so beat." Tina snapped the curtain closed. "Tina, I'm not rejecting you, I am looking out for you. If you are still awake when I get there and you still desire me, I'm yours, I promise."

A Study in Darkness by Emma Jane Holloway

I didn't read the first book in the series (I know bad on my part but the cover was so pretty I had to get the book) so I was kind of not knowing what the heck was going on, BUT the book is an adventure type and I loved every minute of it. Imogen's thoughts entertained me, "Nick as a pirate?" Imogen muse. "He would look good with a cutlass and parrot." And Nick I thought he was just the sweetest, "court a girl," he said slyly. "Do I bring you sweetmeats and roses and take you to a show?" I mean seriously I fell in love with him, "Evie," he said, his voice holding emotions she couldn't name. "I'd walk through Newgate if I thought it would win you." I mean the boy is so far gone for her that he'd literally do anything for her, "his gaze softened. "If they're yours, they're mine. That's how it's always been." Even thought I totally had no clue what I missed from the first book I still loved this one.

Finding Olivia by Micalea Smeltzer

I loved this story Trace holly hotness, "my eyes trailed down, over the white t-shirt glued to his chest, and stopped there. I could see black ink underneath the white shirt and licked my lips." Girl I'd lick my lips as well. Trace he's just the type of boy you can't help but fall in love with, "Olivia," he tilted my chin up, the green of his eyes searing my very soul. "I can assure you that sex can be very, very, good...when it's with the right person." His sexual innuendos seriously kill me, "I'm not quite naked yet, but if you'd like to help me get there, that's fine by me." He likes to have Olivia with him, "yes, you can," his eyes darkened. "It's my room, and it's my bed, and I want you in it." He's also considerate, "it's not that I'm not horny this morning," he continued much to my dismay, "I just figured you wouldn't appreciate waking up with me between your legs."  I really want Luca and Avery's story.

In Too Deep by Brandy L. Rivers

I loved this book. I loved Brody. I loved Fallon. I just plain loved all the damn characters! The story is told from different point of views and I have to say I loved Brody's the most, "she was absolutely stunning, had attitude up the wazoo, and brass balls the size of a semi." I mean I loved his thoughts, "...hoped like hell the underwear would hold down his junk. If that didn't kill his persistent boner, he wasn't sure what would." He's just sex on two legs, "I feel like I've been waiting an awful long time for you, sugar. If I change my mind, I'll tell you. But you're going to have to stop me if I go too far." Fallon that girl is fearless and really does have balls, "after I finished the blade, he took my free hand, and put it on his di**. I took the same mana-blade I just finished and stabbed him in the leg, about two inches from his balls." Brody has a scary side and it includes when Fallon is hurt and he's protective and possessive, "Brody, stopped growling. You scared the hell out of Dakota." I'm ready for the next installment in the series!

Hell Without You by Ranae Rose

Donovan that man is HOT with a capital 'H', "he glanced down at the checkered kitchen towel he'd slung around his hips. It covered the manliest bits of his anatomy and most of the dark hair at his groin, but flapped pathetically around his muscular butt cheeks." He's so honest as well, "I want you. I've always wanted you. Do you have any idea what it's like to want somebody so bad for so long? You do stupid s*** like try to sleep outside their door and let them play doctor with your foot just because you want to feel their touch." He's so sexy, "what - all wet?" His voice was definitely a growl now. "Damn, Clementine..." He's a man that oozes sex, "when you put it that way, I'm kinda uncomfortable myself." Her gaze was drawn to his lap, where his erection showed plainly beneath his jeans." He likes her knowing what he's going to do to her, "I want to eff you bare. I don't like the thought of anything being between us if it doesn't have to be." Good lord I loved Donovan.

Beneath the Surface by M.A Stacie

Where to start... I love MMA fighters and cocky a**holes in books so I loved Kyran right off, "I find money allows you to purchase whatever your heart desires. People included." I mean he's really an a** in the beginning, "I have no idea where your desk is. You are not my assistant, and truthfully, I doubt I could afford the distraction." Personally in his own weird way I think he was giving Dale a compliment. Kyran is honest, "that's obvious, I'm around you. I'm horny whenever you're near." He cares for Dale (even though he truly doesn't want to admit it) "Kyran had offered to pay for it, wanting her to have whatever she wanted, regardless of cost." I mean he's really honest, "I want to go slow, to show you how I feel, but I need you so bad right now, baby. I'm a starving man, and you're my banquet. Upstairs?" I'm hoping for Taylor's book next but he has worse issues than Kyran so his book should be real something.

Caught by Menace by Lolita Lopez

Loved the first book in the series so of course I'd love this one Menace he's just lovable, "your people may think we're all monsters, but it isn't true. I've never harmed a woman in my life. I won't allow you to be harmed either. Do you understand? You are mine now. Mine." Naya her mind is an interesting one, "she tried to hide her shock, but his smug smile told her she wasn't successful. She couldn't blame him for being smug. It was a huge co**." Menace he's demanding and he knows how to make a woman drop to her knees, "no but you are my woman. Right now, I want to taste my woman." I mean really drop to her knees, "eff, Naya," Menace swore loudly. "That is the sexiest thing I've ever seen." I can't wait to see whose next up in the series.

One by Mari Arden

Can't help but fall in love with Pax, "because if you are," he continues, "it's only fair that I get to stare, too." He's cocky, "no one needs a man," Pax replies, stepping closer. "But having a man near or in front of you might not be such a bad thing." He pauses. "Especially if they're behind you. Magical things can happen when a man is behind a woman. Want me to show you?" He's mysterious, "when I'm working, I'm Reid. When I'm on the field, I'm Pax. But you, Jules, can call me whatever you like." He's honest, "I didn't think I would find someone that I'd want to get to know so soon, but you rolled down that hill and something inside me started moving again. A lot of me started moving again, actually." And Jules has a temper bless her heart, "is she your mistress?" I accuse, stepping forward. "Your sl**? Your plaything? Do you two laugh about me at night? How I fell so easily for your charm?" I liked this book and I wouldn't mind seeing a few other characters in the book get a story.

If You Leave by Courtney Cole

I loved Gabe right off especially when we first got in his mind, "I shift my weight and adjust the boys and my semi-hard di**." His presence isn't one you can miss when he walks into the room it's like your eyes are drawn to him, it's the attitude he carries, "when we get to my house, I'm going to eff you with that," I tell her in her ear. "And you're going to like it." And I was so glad to see Pax again I loved him in the first book, "that's not exactly what I meant. You're...shall we say...a little fierce. You need a guy with balls. You don't need a guy whose balls are in your purse. Just sayin'." And Gabe he's so honest (on certain things like his desire for Maddy,) "but it doesn't matter right now. I want to be inside you, Madison. I'm finally going to eff you and you're going to like it." And he gets defensive when you call a certain member on his body 'little', "hey, never, in any situation, should you call him 'little man.' The word little should never be used in conjunction with my penis." I can't wait for the next installment in this series.

COVER REVEAL: Betraying Innocence by Airicka Phoenix

Betraying Innocence Synopsis Roseanna - Ana - French was happy with her life. Sure she had to move to a strange new town and live in a creepy new house that had inexplicable cold spots, but she could live with that. What she couldn’t deal with was the relentless tapping inside the walls at night, the sinister shadows in the halls or the spirit crawling its way beneath her skin.

Take Me by Diane Alberts

This is the first book I've read in the series (I know i have a tendency to read the last book first but I can't help it) and I must say I'll need to read the other books in the series because I really fell in love with the book and it's characters. Mike he'd do anything for his sister even threaten her fiancee', "good. Or I'd burn them the eff off, then carry your crippled self down the aisle to say 'I do.'" Morgan she's a feisty little thing, "buddy, you couldn't afford me even if you tried," she said. "And FYI? I'm not a stripper. Not all dancers are strippers, but I wouldn't expect someone like you to know that." Mike is a cocky one, "I called you over here because you've been watching me," he said, lifting his mug to his lips. "And I've been watching you watching me." He's also a jealous sort, "white-hot jealousy coursed through his blood. Ridiculous jealousy. But it was there, nonetheless. He wanted this woman to be his tonight. Not some other man's." He's just plain hot, "honey? What we just did right there wasn't just any effing. That was consummation."

My Favorite Mistake by Chelsea M. Cameron

Loved this book! Taylor is a girl with a lot of baggage and doesn't take crap from anyone and she's forced to room with Hunter (total babe and ladies man) because their college messed up. Their banter is non-stop and half the things they argue about is kind of stupid, but it's fun to read about. Their first meeting actually was how the book hooked me in, it was hook, line and sinker. "I think you punching and kicking him in the balls was sort of a handshake." Hunter says things that embarrass Taylor and it is some funny crap. "I'd want to screw you no matter what you're wearing but you might want to spruce up a little so everyone will want you." He also wants to be with her, and not for conquest reasons either, but Taylor as I said has so much baggage that she doesn't want to get burned or hurt him (not that she would let him know that). "You are my business. I made you my business. I want you to be my business." I really truly LOVED this book as it was unique and something different from what I would normally read.

Accidental Cowgirl by Maggie McGinnis

I'm always in the mood for ranches, and hot cowboys so I was really thrilled to read this book. There may not be steamy, steamy scenes but there are sweet love scenes that I fell in love with. Decker holy hotnes he's just so dreamy, "did you try saying whoa? The horse is trained to stop, you know." You can tell there is attraction there but both Kyla and Decker are hesitant to make a move, but Decker his mind is an intriguing place to be, "Decker tried exceptionally hard not to think of Kyla in that warm, hot shower, or what it might be like to help her wash the mud off her gorgeous, taut little body, but it wasn't working." I mean as the story progresses so doesn't their feelings, "Decker's jeans were already tight. Thinking of other possibilities was definitely not going to help the situation." Decker he's like every woman's wet dream I'm not kidding, "well, let me remind you, then. Proper protocol, when asked to dance by a man a staggeringly handsome and charming as I, is to soon delicately and say yes." Decker he's dedicated to Kyla, "name it. We can fix it. I don't even care what it is. We'll figure it out." I would love to have Cole's story he seems like an interesting character as well.

Breaking Nova by Jessica Sorensen

Why is it I always think Jessica writes stand alone novels, I'm not sure, but I thought this one was a stand alone a surprise waited for me at the end WITH A CLIFFHANGER! This woman is seriously trying to kill me, I just hope this series only has TWO books and not like a million. This book was a lot different than Jessica's other books as the major drug usage in it, personally I don't like drugs so it was a tad bit difficult for me to read about the characters I love using them, well two of the characters the others I didn't give two hoots about. Quinton I did love him I really did but he has major issues and so doesn't Nova but his I honestly didn't care for, for some particular reasons that I can't get into details about because it would spoil the book. From day one I could tell he was a good guy (in some parts of the book,) "sorry, but he's my cousin and this is his house. If he says quit being a b**** to Nova" - he glances at me with a quirk at his lips and a furrow at his brows - "then quit being a b****." Nova her thoughts are interesting, and sometimes sad but mainly interesting, "that's because I was in the bathroom, barfing my guts out because I think you're hot, but I feel guilty about it. And then I decided to make a video about my twisted thoughts about you." Nova she's honest, and pure (not in the 'I'm a saint type') but her heart is pure and she sees the good in everywhere which makes her honesty blunt, "you don't need to apologize. I know I'm not as much fun as Nikki is to hang out with. And I'm really sorry I cried when you kissed me..." I swallow hard. "That wasn't really about you." I'm ready for the next part in this series.

Left to pick up the pieces of her broken family, Liberty is faced with focusing all of her attention on helping her parents cope with the loss of their son, while putting her own life on the back burner. But what no one seems to realize is that she is just as broken inside.
Now, four years later, twenty year old Liberty is taking back the reins of her life. She leaves behind everything she’s ever known, hoping to make a fresh start…one where she isn’t faced with the constant reminder that her brother is nothing more than faded memory. What she didn’t expect to find along the way was Shayne.
Tall, dark and tattooed, Shayne Thompson has developed quite a reputation for being a player. Despite everyone’s negative perception, Liberty still finds herself drawn to him. When she learns that Shayne knows all too well what it feels like to lose someone you love, she finds that they have a lot more in common than just a physical attraction.

Tangled Tides by Karen Amanda Hooper

I really do like reading about mermaids, they intrigue me. Treygan I love him and he really does love Yara even though there were times I wanted to beat him because of certain things he did but he really does love her, "oh, but I did. The times when you were a kid you don't remember, but I most certainly did. And during the hurricane you specifically said you wished for me to take you some place safe." Yara she's confused and new to the world she's in now and she has feelings for Treygan and a scene really broke my heart, "get out! The longer you stand there, the more pathetic I feel. Just leave me alone and pretend this never happened." But leave it to Treygan to straighten things out, "I want to kiss you. I've wanted to kiss you since we collided on your front porch. But you have to trust me and when I tell you it's...we shouldn't. You could get hurt, and I vowed to protect you, not harm you." Then there was a scene I got all hot and bothered over thanks to Treygan, "skin is more sensitive. In five seconds I'm going to set my hand down. Do you want to feel my fingers on your scales, or the skin of your thigh."

Stripped by H.M. Ward

I love Holly I really do but these damn cliffhangers and not stand alone books are killing me. There only better be two books I really do hate these clifhangers, but I love the Ferro brothers so I guess I'll have to deal with it. I'm kind of excited as to what I found out at the end, that means the next series installment of something is going to be good. Jonathan even at a young age he was a cocky little s***, "Jonathan's eyes dip to my cleavage. "I know so. One day with me is all it takes, baby." I liked going back in the past where Cassie and Jon first met, it helped me understand what the hell is up his butt and why he was so mad at her. Even after all the years and what she 'supposedly' did to him he still cares a lot for her, "I hate sitting and watching her work the other guy. Every bit of me wants to strut over to the man and slam my fist down his throat." I wish the "Arrangement" series was told in both point of views like this one was that way there I could get in Sean's head.

A Graceful Mess by Nacole Stayton

Parker that boy is very vocal in his wants, "this is how bad I effing want you. I want to be buried deep in you and feel your tight, little pu**y. I know it's tight and ready for me. I can practically smell it and taste it. And I know you want me too. All I have to do is lay you back and pull down those little panties then make you mine. I can see the look in your eyes. You're curious and want this too. Don't you?" Parker's mind is seriously interesting, "what kind of question is that? Hell yeah, I want to get out of here and get you out of that cute, little, coral sundress thingy." I mean I REALLY did love being in his mind, "one second she is shy, almost fragile, and the next second she is a horny beast. Like my di** is her crack and she is addicted." And the things that come out of his mouth during intercourse, "did you just swallow my nut?" He's also not bashful I like that in a man, "he doesn't move his hand or anything to cover his penis that is just hanging out there, like he doesn't have a care in the world." It takes awhile but Grace finally lets go and tells Parker what she wants during certain situations, "Parker, I need you. I want you inside me. Please eff me. Use your mouth to take away my pain. I'm begging you." Loved this book and I want Carson's story next!

Crazy Beautiful Love by J.S. Cooper

Maddie she's just an awesome girl and overlooks everyone's flaws and I just loved her to pieces even when she gets upset, "you think I'm just this beautiful girl, with nothing better to do than just steal cars for fun. And now I'm practically begging you to be with me, and you're disgusted with me. Do you think I'm crazy?" Logan he can be a serious a**, "Maddie, I have no interest in getting married, and if I did, it would not be to you." But then he does things to make you forget he's an a**, "I thought you'd be on the bed by now," he growled in my ear as he cupped my right breast again. "I thought your clothes would be on the floor and you'd be spread-eagle, waiting for me to devour you with my tongue." And then he's an a** again, this boy is seriously giving me whiplash, "stop trying to make this into more than it is. And don't ask me why I'm mean to you or hate you. I don't hate you. I just don't effing care." Their relationship is seriously just weird, "not a lot, but why girls always think you're not into them if you don't want to eff? I mean, really, Maddie? I can barely keep my hands off of you. I just told you we can try dating and you want to know if I'm attracted to you?" But I loved the book and can't wait for the next one in the series.

Where my Heart Breaks by Ivy Sinclair

This story was cute and I really loved reading it. The rumors around Reed I didn't think were fair because as you got to read the book you learn he's not what his reputation is saying about him, "all around. He's a nice enough guy, but when it comes to women, it's pretty clear that he's a use 'em and lose 'em kind of guy." You know after an incident happens you'd almost think Reed was jealous, "I wanted to make sure you made it home safely," he said, cocking his head. "Considering you left Lula's without letting me know you found another ride. You seem to make friends easily." Kate has a temper on her, "I'm sure you have," I said. I felt a flash of anger. "Is that why you're here? To see if the bad girl is as naughty as they say she is? Seems like if you were looking for an easy lay, you could have taken a turn with either of those blond bimbos at the bar." Reed I'm proud of him it takes balls to admit how he really felt, "I lied. I want to be more than friends. I want to kiss you and touch you while you moan and cry out my name. I want to be the man who brings you the most pleasure you've ever had in your life. I want to be the one you think about when you go to sleep at night." He's also possessive, "I will kill any random guy who would try to ask you because you are mine, Kate."

Hot Blooded by Amanda Carlson

Any one who knows me, knows that I like romance and not really action-y books but I love Jess I just wished there was more Rourke and Jess moments, that's probably why I liked certain parts of the book more than others. Rourke I do like him but I really do wish that James was her mate of course knowing the author they'll probably flip the switch and make James the bad guy (sweet jesus I freakin' hope not) Anyway on to the book and not my thoughts in la-la land. Rourke he really does get offended at certain things, "of course I beheaded her," he growled as he paced forward. "And I took her heart out. Show would have never been able to keep me had she not called the demons. She's never been as strong as I am." Well someone thinks highly of himself. He still makes me all hot though, "my body burned for him. I pushed myself up against him. He growled with pleasure, his blond stubble tickling my chin as he kissed me." Jess that girl I really can't remember enjoying a character more than her, "I was starved for him. As in if I-didn't-get-him-soon-I-might-die kind of starved." Ready for the next installment and honestly I hope it's the last one because these cliffhangers are a b****.

Full Blooded by Amanda Carlson

Holy s*** did I like this book or what Jess that girl being in her mind is freakin' awesome! "Jesus Christ! You've spent your whole life thinking about this very moment and you try to convince yourself you have the flu? What's the matter with you?" So many hot men in this book James Oh my God I so badly wanted him to be her mate with all the steamy scenes and the integrity he has, "Jessica....my wolf is to far gone," he said, his voice gruff with need. "You need to tell me right now if you want this. I won't be able to stop otherwise. If you don't want this, all you have to do is tell me and I will leave your apartment and return in an hour." And holy hotness!! "He flexed once and my flimsy yoga pants ripped apart at their seams, dropping around me in a pool of material." Then there is Rourke, "I had no idea until I just tasted you. I think something shattered between us when we came together. I know you felt it too." He gazed at me in an open wonder. "Your blood calls to me right now. Just being this far apart is making me crazy. I need to touch you." Protective is that boy ever, "you will not eff with me or mine! Do you hear me?"

Acting on Temptation SM Donaldson

YAY it's Russ's and Anna's story I'm so excited I fell in love with both of them in the first book. Russ you can't help but love that boy, "well, I am. You wake up with me kissing you and my hand in your pants...I know you aren't ready for that and hell I guess I go so drunk I passed out in your bed."  He's so honest, "Anna you can't say things like that out here, my d*** is about to bust out of my pants." He loves his girl very much and he hates going long periods at a time without seeing her, "I hope you weren't planning on dancing for me or anything, because I need to be inside you right now." I'm seriously ready for Cade and Daria's book now that this book ended a certain way.

Anywhere With You by Kaylee Ryan

I liked the story, it was cute, but I kinda wished there was a little bit more drama in it. I loved being in Liam's head, "watching another man, even one of my closest friends, touch her or kiss her throws me off kilter." And Allison that girl you can't help but love, "can you honestly blame me: two beefy, sexy as hell football players with bulging muscles helping us move, hello I'm only human." Aidan he's protective of Allison they're like brother and sister, "she is my sister in every sense of the word. Don't hurt her, Liam, or I swear to god." He takes a deep breath. "She is not just a quick eff that you don't ever speak to again. So help me, if you hurt her in any way, I will beat the s*** out of you. She's my baby sister. EFF!" Liam he would seriously do anything for her, "you think I don't effing know that. Do you not think that I would give her the world if I could." Being in his mind was more interesting then Ally's as his was more grittier, "a simple touch from this girl and I have the ability to hammer nails with my c***." He's also honest, "yes, beautiful girl I just got off in my pants because my sexy as eff girlfriend was driving me crazy." He's also not one to be messed with, "watch your effing mouth when you talk about me and my girl, effstick."

Unbreakable Hearts by Amanda Bennett

I REALLY do love my follow up stories on how characters are doing it is seriously like crack to me, especially when I love the characters as much as I do Gray and Bennett! Gray is still cray-cray for his girl, "if this old weathering structure brought that much joy to her, I was willing to practically break my back every day." He still doesn't know what to do in a certain situation, "very funny. No, I was just trying to...Oh screw it; I'm freaking out here. I don't know what to grab and what not to grab." And he's still as playful, "I smacked her a**, catching her off guard just before leaning in and pulling out the car seat..." I normally don't read novellas but I really do love Amanda so I had to read it.
